Can't believe I'm giving Golden Corral 5 stars!! Food was surprisingly good. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Went for lunch. The place was packed @ 1:30 on Saturday. It's been many years since I have visited due to being disappointed, but this location has won me back.
We went to the Golden Corral yesterday for the first time in awhile that is located in O'Fallon Mo. off of Hwy K. I was totally amazed how great the food was. The salad bar was excellent with everything very fresh, all the rest of the buffet was also beyond great and I will definitely be back as it was a very enjoyable experience and very reasonably priced.
I went to the restaurant at a little after 1:30 pm. That's when the senior special kicks in. There are always a bunch of old people, and that includes me, waiting. They have two registers. Only one was working. There were 6 or so people waiting outside in the cold. They have a three lane que. The people waiting with me said there was some problem with a rope. He went through the line and adjusted it is some way. Then we were all able to get into the building. I...
