I have been here 3 times now. The first time was shortly after opening and they had a few kinks to work out with service but the food was decent. The second time I went the service was amazing and the food was good. This last time my husband and I went on the Monday before Christmas and it was pretty dead. We got and then no one acknowledged us for about 25 mins. Finally ordered beers and food. Beers took forever as did the food but like I said it wasn’t busy. Food finally came out and my husbands sliders were charred and dry and you could see tons of salt on top. I got the brisket grilled cheese (which I had the first time I went and was good) and it was terrible. The meat was gray and chewy and the bread was soggy. My biggest issue with this place is it has the potential to be good but it’s so inconsistent. I don’t think we will back except maybe for drinks.

Their food is way over priced. If it was as they advertised it'd be a good place to eat. Basically if they had a competent chef/cook it might be good. I sent my $30 steak back and it came back the same, charred and well done when asked twice for medium rare. Mashed sweat potatoes were SPICY HOT. Which have mashed potatoes as an option for crying out loud they're so easy to make. I'm just sick if terrible food being priced as luxury food when I as a lay person can easily cook better than anyone employed at Goodwood or any restaurant like them. They get 2 stars for service because the servers did very well, however the rest of the experience was terrible

Service from the server was AMAZING! But service from the hostess stand where it says “please wait to be seated”. That was dead I stood there for a good 10-15minutes with no one in sight. That is until the rest of party showed up. It took so long they thought my party and the one behind me were together.
Most of the food was okay. I personally feel over priced when it’s almost $3 a wing and I’m plucking off feathers myself. Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s what we pay for.

Jimmy the bartender was very professional and attentive. The bar set up was good with several TVs to watch the game. The football appetizer special had delicious pork sliders and wings with celery for a good price. The beer was cold and there were several options. Overall I would go back and recommend this place.

Just had a business lunch with around 15 people. The service was great, and the food was good. Food came out quickly and they got all the orders right. Highly recommend Goodwood for your next business meeting or even company Holiday party.

From the moment we walked onto the patio we were in love with this place. The food was some of the most delicious and unique flavor profiles I've ever had. Every bite from the Buffalo Cauliflower to the Sweet Potato Beignets was out of this world. And if all that wasn't enough, we had the delightful Erin as our server. I am not exaggerating when I say she made this experience from a great lunch spot that we'd be back to eventually to wanting to make it our new date night spot and the place we bring family and friends to.
Overall, it was ok, I guess. Their beer and bourbon were tasty. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. The goat cheese crumbled on top was where most of the flavoring was at. My husband had a bite of the fish and chips and couldn't go any further. The burger I had was very underwhelming in flavor. Despite all of this, we will give it one more try and see if that was just an off night for the kitchen. Our bartender was fantastic with his customer service!

Its hard to compare to McGurks, but it has a pretty solid menu. Staff was super friendly and helpfull. But kitchen staff on several occasions could not seem to handle even minor deviations from menu such as no or light sauce. Its always heavy and if you want it on side its heavy with extra on side. So i gave up with any special orders.

I meant to leave this before, We came on last Thursday but I really enjoyed my time here, the atmosphere was great, the food was amazing and our waitress Erin was so amazing and funny!!! One of the best waitresses I’ve had in a long time… definitely coming back and hopefully Erin is our waitress again..
