The food was absolutely amazing, and the cherry margaritas were fantastic! The staff was not only friendly but also made the experience fun and enjoyable. This was our first time visiting, and we’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Great michelada, great service, only suggestion is maybe a full time bartender but the bar may not be busy enough for that .

I should have a frequent flyer pass at Jose Penos! I have dined here over 100+ times. You can ALWAYS count on fast & friendly service, a great margarita that isn't too sugary & just the right amount of strong, delicious food no matter what you choose on the menu & some of the best chips & salsa in the county! If you haven't tried Jose Penos, go now! You will be so happy you did! This is our favorite place to take our family & when we walk in, it feels like home! Thank you Jose & staff for being a staple in the community with the BEST Mexican cuisine around! :) 10/10

I ordered the margarita pitcher through doordash and they used water instead of tequila. What a ripoff!!. Worst margarita ever!!!!!

Joe Penos is very consistently good food, hot and served promptly every time we come. We frequent this place and can’t say enough good things about it. Jose himself very frequently makes it a point to come and see how everyone is doing. He very obviously cares about his clientele. If you want good Mexican fare, I highly recommend Joe Peños!

I would add, some people use these reviews to bully business owners to get whatever they want, even when they are being completely unreasonable. It’s not easy to be consistently good, many things can go into that equation, (maybe an employee didn’t show up…etc).
