We stopped by Max's after a long day at Six Flags. We ordered a simple cheese pizza and bread. This was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The crust was soft and the pizza sauce was fresh! I will definitely be dropping by Max's again tomorrow before I leave St. Louis! My picky teenager even loved the pizza!

We were visiting from Indiana for our nephew's wedding, staying at a nearby hotel. Always like to "eat local" when we can. Chose Max's for carryout. Chicken Taco Pizza was amazing! Don't forget to add jalapeños to ratchet it up a bit! Great conversation with the team when we picked up our order. Fantastic service, great pizza and good people. If we are in the area again, Max's will most certainly be on our list!

Absolutely LOVE Max's!!! Not only is the pizza great, but their wedgie sandwiches are top notch! I love supporting a small local business... especially when it's being run by one single gentleman. Time off during the slow part of the day, or opening late on occasion... 100% acceptable in my book!!

Had only one time since changing from Fox Pizza Den (not close to home)..I have to say it is better..almost gave it 5 stars...asked for extra cheese and ACTUALLY felt like I got it! When I get mozzarella on pizza..I LIKE extra cheese. The owners very personable...will definitely go again

I never write reviews but I had to make a one for Max’s! Their pizza was absolutely amazing, the crust was nice and flakey, while their cheese and toppings were very fresh. The employees are really friendly too, I had wonderful conversation. All their food is very filling and unique. I highly recommend you buy, especially if you’re in one of the hotels across the street! It’s very convenient!
