Mr. Pita Mediterranean Grill

I dined at this restaurant yesterday and had a genuinely wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was flavorful, well-presented, and clearly made with care. From the appetizers to the main course, everything tasted fresh and perfectly prepared.

The service was especially impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire meal.

During my visit, I unfortunately witnessed another customer shouting at the waitress over a minor issue. It was uncomfortable to watch, and I truly felt bad for her. Despite the situation, she remained calm, respectful, and incredibly professional the entire time.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very pleasant—clean, welcoming, and comfortable. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

Overall, the food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will gladly return again.

Where do I start? Well, it was AMAZING! Need i say more? Yes. First, they were very friendly and efficient. Our orders were on the table in less than 15 minutes. The food was delish. Beef Kabob was so good, rice so succulent, and hummus was out of this world. Also had baba ganoush. It was very good. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. Pita was nice, soft and warm. So clean. Did I mention that? The place was clean and the bathrooms were spotless. I highly recommend this place if ya wanna get a good meal.

Since Mr Pita is opened we have been here so many times. And brought friends and family so many times. We really enjoy the food but attitude of the serving/cashier girls need to be changed.
For example, I had an unpleasant experience during lunch today( Feb12) from stepping in until I left.
I ordered several items in advance so we could eat quickly. When we arrived, the girl commented on how early we placed the order. (it was 20 min before).
While we were eating, she stopped by and asked why we were not eating bread. (it is not her business to analyze what we have ate or left)
When I paid, she asked me to write a tip. I was already planning to leave one, but it usually is not asked directly. I wrote the tip as a percentage, and she told me, with an attitude, that I should calculate it and write it in dollars. I was very shocked by this behavior.

Even though the food was very good, I have a doubt that I will be back.

We had a great experience today at this restaurant. The food was delicious and full of flavor, and the service really stood out — the waitresses were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I had the Mr. Pita mixed grill, which was perfectly cooked and very flavorful, and my wife had the beef shawarma plate, which was tender and delicious. The ambience was pleasant and comfortable, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a place we’d be happy to visit again.

I've been going to this place for almost a year. I order from here atleast 2 times a week and I can confidentially say that their BBQ is one of the best BBQ's I've had in my entire life. I've tried hundreds of diff places around the world and their kofta and beef kabab is truly top tier. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I'd definitely recommend you guys to try this place! Shout out to all the staff!

Mr. Pita Mediterranean Grill is an absolute gem. The restaurant is spacious clean and very reasonably priced. The food is always fresh high quality and full of flavor.

I recently moved here from California and this is hands down the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in the St. Louis area. Nothing else has come close.

The entire staff is friendly and welcoming and the service is excellent. A special thank you to Yahya for his kindness generosity and great attitude. He truly makes the experience even better.

Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

LOVE the kibbee! Their gyros are fantastic as well, and the tabouli tastes great, but a bit too much lemon for my palette. My only complaint is their name...they are far much more than just pita! Thus place is a hidden gem.

Visited with my son and my daughter. The wait staff was quite rude two young gals behind the counter were extremely rude and insensitive when I had questions about the food. They became very dismissive and forced me to order something that was not what I pointed to on the menu. I have been a frequent customer and have always brought friends and family but after my last visit I dont think I'll be returning for some time. Food was OK but portions look smaller in comparison since 2023.

The ambience was really nice—warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a relaxed atmosphere that made it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. The portion sizes were generous, definitely great value if you’re someone who appreciates hearty servings.

As for the food, it was okay but not outstanding. Some dishes were nicely seasoned, but others felt a bit underwhelming compared to other Mediterranean spots I’ve tried in Missouri. The flavors were mild and fresh, but I was hoping for a little more authenticity and boldness.

That said, it’s still a good option if you’re in the mood for Mediterranean and want a comfortable dining experience with good service and plenty of food for the price.

The guy at the front desk helped me find a replacement for the doner kebabs that I used to get in the ville outside camp humphries. Took the time to help me learn what I wanted. The gyro sandwich with cheese added is fantastic 10/10 recommend!

My first time here and I got the chicken shawarma pita sandwich, falafel, and tabouleh. The food was good, but the chicken pieces were so small and dried out my sandwich was literally crunchy. If you look at the picture, it looks like there is bacon on my sandwich, but nope, that’s the chicken pieces. I would try again, but hope my chicken was better
