Been coming here for a while and it’s the kind of old-school family pizza place that’s getting harder to find. Great pizza, solid food all around, and a relaxed nostalgic vibe when you walk in. The owner/manager is always out working, talking to people, and making everyone feel welcome. Great wings and apps too! Support local!

I been meaning to get out to this location and today I did! From the minute I walked in I was swipt back into time. I noticed the arcade room tucked off in the corner (they had pinball 😁) walked pass the buffet everything looked delicious. I interacted with the manager Travis, was extremely nice, warm and welcoming. I let him know I wasn't a pork eater and he went above and beyond to make sure that pizzas were put out with beef, cheddar veggies, Thank you Travis ☺️ The entire experience was awesome, especially the music. If you are a kid at heart and like to revisit some nostalgic vibes, this is exactly the place to come‼️ Everything was hot & tasty just as I remembered and price was fantastic, we would mostly definitely return. I'd give more stars if I could, I left feeling happy and very full☺️

The pizza is not the same since the new owners took over. It has a different tomato sauce and a completely different taste. I have been eating this pizza since the late 80’s and am not happy with the change. Al had it all down and had a great pizza.

Ordered 3 pizzas, and I swear they were 10 pounds, they don't skimp on cheese, toppings or sause. Plus, it's been 40 years since I been to a Panteras, I think this is the last one, unless there is still one in Kirkwood. Can't wait to go back and try something different.

I stopped in with the family today 12/31/25 for their lunch buffet and I was so freaking disappointed in the food. The one and only thing that was good was they're chocolate chip dessert pizza, everything else was not good at all. This is coming from a pizza loving family. Overall just a bad experience. Sorry to say, but I won't be back.

Service was great, bathrooms were clean, but the deep dish pizza isn't what it used to be. The crust isn't as thick, and the pizza was a bit dry. Flavor was pretty good, though, and the salad bar was great!

Incredible! I felt like I stepped into a pizzeria/business from 30 years ago and it was amazing. GREAT ATMOSPHERE! Plenty of seating which was all filled. Clean tables, like this place actually cares, and actively cleans. What appeared to be the manager, busting his butt. People taking your order that are present and engaged. They had a pizza buffet that was actually stocked, and with pizza that people would eat! Even a little game room for the kids. We got the hunk on their original crust and it was fantastic! Unlike most big classic pizza chains that have dropped off the cliff, this pizza was GREAT! This place was checking all the boxes. It’s weird times when, what was a classic pizzeria is so rare that I’d say I would drive the 50 mins to come back here again. Thank you!
EDIT: after leaving my review, I read the person’s review just before me. We were probably there at the same time or pretty close. He complained about confusion about what to do while waiting for a table. With 5 groups ahead of mine, while at first a bit daunting, after ordering and paying, the girl handed us a number and told us they’ll call our number when our table was ready. It went pretty smooth. After 10 mins they called our number and the manager sat us. Maybe he was NOT told that info and not sure of his experience. For me the line was fairly smooth and understandable. Only nitpick would be they gave us our plates, napkins, and silverware so we had to hold them while waiting, which wasn’t really a problem at all. I was there at peak lunch, while, I didn’t get the buffet, and didn’t keep an eye on it once sat. BUT when I was waiting in line I specifically noticed 8 to 10 pizzas and what looked like 2 dessert pizzas, which oddly my kids then specifically asked for, but since we didn’t get the buffet, we didn’t try. Again, I’m not sure of his experience. Maybe he was there 30 minutes before or after and it was empty, Don’t want to discount his experience.
