A very relaxing atmosphere, I did some studying while I ate. And the food was really good! The garlic naan was great, and the curry is delicious, tasted hot and fresh and perfectly spiced!

Drove 25 miles to get there only to find that they closed for the day to focus on catering orders. Very disappointed.

The hunt for good Indian restaurants is always on and this one we happened to stumble upon just because we were in the area and there was no time to go home and cook.
The reviews looked splendid with over a 1000 people talking about the dishes we happened to try as well. The place comes a close second when comparing their dosas but the gravy and rice dishes didn’t hit the mark for us.
The service is quick, the place is massive, the restrooms were left unattended, the wash basin was pitiful. The water just wouldn’t drain. Nonetheless, the food was between very good and good.
Podi Dosa: Perfect amount of masala (spices), decent sized chutneys and sambhar. The dosa is crispy, light, airy, and works as a great appetizer if shared.
Goat Dum Biryani: Kinda lacked the punch we were looking for. The masala didn’t quite blend with the rice, the rice was way too salty for our palette, the fried onions were as good as none, and the meat was more bones than meat itself. The staff Rachna and Pratik were kind enough to have it replaced with Chicken Biryani. However, this biryani was even lesser masala and packed with plain rice. The chicken was thinly shaved and we didn’t enjoy it half as much. We appreciate the effort though.
Chicken Tikka Masala: The gravy was well balanced. The tomatoes and onions were cooked to perfection and the chicken sizes were perfect. If I had to pick on a small grievance I wish they were charred more. Given it’s tikka masala and not butter chicken.
Naans: We got the garlic naan and the plain naan. Both of them were cooked well and tasted fresh. We’ve been to restaurants that serve frozen naans and you can certainly tell these weren’t cooked the same.
Persis Indian Grill you definitely did great with your customer service but alas the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations.
