Shortleaf Brewing - Winghaven

My favorite local bar in the area hands down. Best staff and craft beers. The “bowrider” “hazy” and “Brombeir” are amazing beers. Menu is great and check the specials like the burger/fry/pint for 10$ on Mondays is unbeatable.

We went on Halloween night. The atmosphere was nice. The food was ok. The potato soup had a weird consistency to it that tasted more like pumpkin than potato. The Smashed Goat was ok but I think the goat cheese was bad.

**Update
While there are signs as the response indicates, there is nothing on the website, or other reviews I read, stating you are not getting traditional service. It would be nice to know what to expect beforehand.

It would be good if they posted directions that they didn't come get your order and you have to go to the bar to order and get your own drinks

if I wanted to serve myself I'd stay home

Brunch with tap wine and beer. Weird smells when you walk in…

I placed my order along with 5 other people. Waited about 15 min, and then 10 min before the food was brought to our table, I was informed they were out of an Ingredient. But 2 out of 3 tables received the same order at the same time, including someone at my table.

Just a weird place in general.

The bar food is delicious!! The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are exceptional!

Great smash goat burger and beers!

Great beer and bourbon selection! Most beers are in-house made. Wonderful flavor.

Well over 40 bourbons to choose from as well.

The wings were great, staff was kind, patient, and very inviting.

I've been here a couple times now and can say it's a place that will not disappoint.

Passing through and dropped in for beer and food. Nice spot in a cool little neighborhood square like setting. Bearlake Shake was delicious and happy hour app deals fed us well. Bartender seemed a bit..preoccupied and service was a bit slow, but was great once in back in the groove.

Glad we made the stop.

Nice little neighborhood brewery. Kids were at practice, so I had dinner with my wife. There was a wide selection of beers. They even had some non-alcoholic beers for me. We liked the MexIcan lager and Hazy IPA N/A. The smashed goat burger was good, and my wife enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich.The fries were a little soggy.

Lots of unique beers! Friendly staff! Smaller patio but the food makes up for it.

I love Shortleaf, also because it’s right next to the library. Beer and books. Quaint place, good beer. My absolute favourite is Hopshack. They do have great selection of beers and keep adding seasonals too. All the love!

I could go on and on about this place! The food is amazing from brunch to wings to smash burgers! Brittney and Todd were the most knowledgable bartenders and had the best personalities I will be back! Thank you for the amazing service

Food and drink on point! Great little spot with a decent patio. Service was really good. Separate (small) dining and bar. Dogs on patio! Coming back soon.

You've never had a burger until you've had this smash burger! All while you sip on some incredible craft beer and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and staff. The only problem i have is not being able to enjoy it a bit more (nevermind that we come at least once a week). A hidden gem that i recommend to EVERYONE. Did I mention bottomless mimosas for Sunday brunch? Worth it!
