It's not Sam's anymore. It's Mr. Pita. Indian, Mediterranean cuisine.

If I could rate Sami's higher I would. Excellent customer service, food was hot, fresh, fast, delicious, and portions generous.

We really wanted to try this place, and since i love catfish, today, well guess what the O'Fallon location doesn't exist it's a Mr. Pita at 1120 technology drive, but do they update locations on their website, no. Who knows what else is falsely advertised. Nope can't trust it won't try to make this mistake again. Went to the cracker barrel next door instead

The seafood is awesome. The shrimp are huge. The serving sizes are very large so I always have some left to take home. The Gumbo is great. It's not too spicy. They let us try it the first time for free. Now we always get it. The service is also good too.

This restaurant seems to be more of a carry out type of restaurant. We dined in and instead of ordering at the counter where there's a huge menu on the wall, the sat us at our table and we waited almost 10 minutes before we got a menu. It was odd that she didn't just give us menus when she sat us. We know how short staffed many restaurants are so we waited patiently. The hush puppies were so good! The grilled fish came with sautéed onions and bell peppers. It was also delicious.

My mom and I have been repeat customers of this establishment for about 3 years now and up until now everything has been pretty good. Up until recently when they started changing things. Now the portions have gone down drastically and they’re charging small portions at large prices. They barely want to give you any Sam’s sauce. The fish and green beans has started to get overly salty and the Mac n cheese is nothing but dry noodles now with traces of other food particles mixed in at that! After 3 years - this was just an overall horrible experience the last two times and I’m disappointed but we will be finding a new fish spot!

Where do I even begin?? My chicken livers were half cooked and half raw!! I took a small bite of one that was more cooked and it tasted sour like it was spoiled. I sent it back and didn't order anything else. My granddaughter's food was all too spicy for her and she sat and cried. The fries were too spicy for a normal person let alone a child!! We won't be going back. The crab cakes were just mush. All I can say good about the place was the server and girl at the cash register were nice.

It has potential. I was hoping for some good ol' fish fry but found some issues with what I got. First of all the "homemade" lemonade was Countrytime. Or similar. But there were no lemons harmed in the making of that lemonade. Next the entirety of the fish basket was sprinkled with some sort of seasoning before being brought to my table. Unnecessary. The catfish was good (I did see a review saying it wasn't catfish,...it is) and the shrimp was good, but the crab cake was made with surimi not real crab. That's deceiving. The red beans and rice were delicious but the Mac and cheese was terrible. Additional comments - they brought out sides in styrofoam bowls - a big sustainability no no, also their prepackaged plastic utensils instead of offering reusable. This place has potential to be a great spot. I look forward to them taking the feedback and improving.
