This restaurant rocks! We went through the drive thru and it was extremely fast, accurate and friendly. In the past, we have had promblems with Steak n Shake restaurants and their accuracy. The burgers were spot on, the fries were crispy, and they didn't have attitude! Drive the extra distance for a great experience!

Absolutely the slowest fast food restaurant!!! Itll take a half hour to an hour for food then your order will be wrong! Horrible absolutely horrible!

my husband and I took our 2 boys and 3 nieces for dinner. Usually when we go to a steak and shake we have a less than great experience. it usually takes forever to get our food, shakes and drinks. the staff usually is very inattentive. tonight Jackie, our waitress was awesome. we got our shakes within 10 minutes. we got our food quickly and she came back to check on us and get us whatever else we needed. best waitress we've had at a steak and shake.

I came through the drive through one day on my break from work for lunch and ordered a fried chicken salad and was told they don't serve that any more. Later I came back another day not long after and was told they still serve the salad. I was lied to

Girls in the drive-thru are the sweetest. They apologized multiple times for my order coming out so slow, but it only took six minutes. Bambi was especially sweet and held a conversation with me while we waited for my meal. It felt more like a friend gathering than a complete stranger in the window. The store has radiantly friendly staff that tend to not only be professional, but are very friendly to the guests. They are often slow, but I've noticed how their staffing has gone up and down over the past few weeks. This Steak ‘N Shake is getting much better!

I got a party melt. Usually yummy but it was very greasy. Dined in and got very few fries. In their defense, they didn't have enough help. The next closest steak n shake was closed.

Food was great and hot as usual. If only steak and shake can figure out way the speed up their service. I don't think I've ever been to steak and shake that didn't have a long wait. Part of getting fresh food.

Waited half an hour to get ice cold food. Actually watched my order sit for 15 minutes then finally asked about it. Oops sorry. Walked out to my vehicle and the fries were ice cold. Went back in and got a refund. Just how I wanted to waste my lunch. Usually at other locations late in the afternoon the food is fresh and hot. Well not at this location.
Food is great and cheap when you can actually get it. I fairly certain the they go out of there way to hire the laziest people they can find to work there. Would gladly pay more to get better service.

Mistake and Flake is the new name of this dump.NEVER EVER EAT AT THIS LOCATION.! Terrible service filthy environment. Tables are never ever cleaned. So bad that one time we found feces on our lettuce on a burger. The manager was so in professional about it he only wanted to knock off the Burger off of the menu. I demanded the whole bill be refunded. At that point he didn't even have the common decency to throw the burger away he said it on the table right across from us. They have received nothing but terrible scores from the health department. Save yourself the diarrhea and eat at Freddy's

I've given this location three tries in hopes that it was just bad a day but each time it has been worse. They are always under staffed, tables are left dirty until a costumer comes in who needs it, it's filthy throughout the store but most distrurbing behind the counter, it's takes over an hour to get your food, shakes don't bothers ordering it because it takes longer than the food if they remember at all, something is always incorrect in with the food, no one is available for checkout and the staff avoids eye contact because they know how messed up it is. But today I saw one of the employees, who was clearly overwhelmed, flip off a customer when confronted with a complaint. If you can't staff your store correctly with proper management it shouldn't be open. We will not be back

Went last night and their dining room was closed, so we drove to the Lake St. Louis location and THEIR dining room was closed also! Had a car full of kids and not happy at all...
