We ordered catering from here for our wedding in Eldon. I planned the wedding myself. I didn't want the same boring chicken breast or pork loin with potato dish, green bean and salad that is ubiquitous at weddings and I didn't want to spend $40+ per plate. What I ordered was a package with burnt ends, pulled pork, jalapeno sausage, spoonbread and pit beans (along with buns, onions, plates, utensils, etc). This was less than $15 per plate and delivered to the location for buffet style service.We went to the physical location before hand and tried almost everything, which convinced us it was the right choice for our reception. The burnt ends are amazing, the pulled pork tender and juicy, the jalapeno sausage some of the best I've had. Spoonbread is like a cross between cornbread and corn casserole, absolutely delicious. And the pit beans. I do not tend to like baked beans because they're always sweet. These are meaty and smokey (not sweet) and the only beans that I can actually recall liking. I still get cravings for them.The compliments I got on the reception food just kept coming. People went back for seconds. My friends asked where I got the food from and said they were stuffed. It resulted in there being a significant amount of leftover cake actually. The ordering process was very simple, communication efficient, delivery timely and food excellent. I can't recommend them enough.

Fun, casual place with the most delicious pulled pork, the owners came from the Kansas City area originally, and they have won tons of awards, with trophies from theor BBQ restaurant all over restaurant. My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich, Carolina style, with the Mustard Sauce. French fries are awesome as well! They smoke their meat with real wood.

The food was amazing! I had the burnt end sandwich and my husband had the sampler platter. The cornbread was so good! Service was awesome! Highly recommend!
We walked in on St Patrick's day before the parade, everything was great. Looked at all the wingding trophies and awards from other competitions, checked out the sauces. I was ready to throw down on some awesome BBQ. I'm not going to throw anyone under the bus here but damn, wings were leftover and resaused. My half chicken was eatable. The sides of pit beans were awesome. The pulled pork sandwich was too dry, even with more sauce. I will be back to try once more.

My baked potato was cold. I had to ask them to heat it up. Our waitress said but your plate is warm. She finally re microwave it again. The cheese on top was rubber. We had to get up an find her to refill our drinks. There were only 2 tables with people. The other table had a different waitress.
Delicious BBQ. I had the full rack and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich. With were enough for two meals and were delicious! Service was very friendly. We will be back.

There are quite a number of BBQ places in the Lake of the Ozarks. I consider Half Sauced as one of the better ones.Prices are reasonable so I consider Half Sauced to be one of the best for the price. Facility is clean and atmosphere is okay but nothing exceptional. However, I have yet to have eaten table decorations so would rather pay for the food. What you get is a good, nutritional meal at a good price. If you enjoy BBQ, this is one to put on your list.Half Sauced is locally owned and locally operated.
