Out of town looking for a grocery store and Hy-Vee was close. Being from Texas, I'd not heard of Hy-Vee and considered going to the nearby Target. I'm so happy I chose to try Hy-Vee! When we walked in we were greeted and asked if we needed help by a nice employee. We decided to explore the store for needed items for upcoming wedding. This store is immaculate and roomy! Aisles were wide and it was easy to locate what we needed due to good signage. On several occasions store employees asked if I needed help finding something. I did ask where the greeting cards were and expertly directed to their placement. The wine, beer and liquor selection was impressive! Specialty food items were provided in addition to generic brands. The fruit selection was fresh. Prices were very reasonable and many items were on sale. We didn't self check, as there were four checkers--and baggers--available. Smooth and quick checkout by a friendly checker. My only suggestion is to come to Texas! We could use a store like Hy-Vee! Well done! I wish I'd have taken pics of the inside to showcase cleanliness and layout. You'll have to try it for yourself. :)

DO NOT do grocery pick up from this location. I have made the mistake of doing it every couple of months when I visit the lake and I have the same terrible experience each time. I'm insane to keep trying. If you call the main line to complain; a woman named Susan in very rude. They are always 30+ minutes late. It's faster to go in.

For a restaurant with a bar inside a grocery store this was something I had to try. They do a steady business and offer a full menu and have a nice drink selection also. I had the Barbecue Bacon burger with onion straws instead of fries and was really happy with my decision. The burger was cooked perfectly and had good flavor, I skipped the avocado spread and jalapeños . The onion straws were the best and added an extra bit of flavor and texture on the burger. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area .

Great food, great service, and knowledgeable staff as to what was available. Kinda pricy, but kids ate free so it balanced out.

It's ok I guess but I wouldn't go here again. The food is so bland it tastes like school cafeteria food or something they'd serve at a nursing home

Hy-Vee is cool! They have a bar and dinning area with different types of hot food including Wahlburgers! They also have a nice deli area, bakery, butcher counter and alcohol section. Perfect place for the lake! Prices seem reasonable. Parking is great. Store was well light. Slightly awkward layout to find everything is the only drawback.
Only waited 5-10 minutes for our food. Jalapeño Bacon Wonton's were so yummy. I had the Super Melt and Fries and both were very good. Didn't care for the pickles, but I am not a huge pickle fan anyway. My husband had the Double Decker and Tots. He loved his and said he would definitely go back.

The food was "fine" but this place was extremely (shockingly) slow. It took us 75 minutes from the time we ordered until the food was ready. It was also weird to eat at a restaurant inside a grocery store.

Refused to honor prices advertised on facebook for their sale this weekend. When I showed them the prices still listed on the website they told me they couldn't fix it and would not adjust any price.
