Google says it's open & they were closed with no sign on the door.

The night we went the mentioned 2 people walked out. The waitress did her best and tipped accordingly

Went in was told they now require reservations so we left made a reservation and came back. We were turned away again we have only ever been turned away here 2 times and both times we had our young daughter. As regulars that visit often including in the off season I can say we will never come back and will make sure to let everyone know about the way we have been treated.

At Margaritaville for a conference and a couple of guys and myself decided to try the Chophouse because it was close and served prime rib.
Pulling into the parking lot we all thought and said WTH. The restaurant was situated between a couple of storage buildings, the front entrance looked very unassuming, and a sign said under new ownership, but we had to see it for ourselves.
The place was totally empty for our reservation at 5:30 and the hostess even asked if we had a reservation. We thought this to be funny because there wasn’t a soul inside.
I would describe the place as chic and pretty cool. We went from our original WTH to yeah let’s see. Stage on one side with light system and speakers, a baby grand piano, and Sinatra playing. It’s getting better.
Menu was different than what we saw online. Prime Rib was only on weekends. We thought about leaving, but glad we stayed.
Buddies ordered Ribeyes. They were cooked perfectly and they said they were good. Being in Ozarks, I think price was $10 over priced. Their dinner came with choice of soup or salad, broccoli, a choice of potatoes, and rolls. Very nice portions.
I ordered the chicken fried chicken with a white gravy. It was outstanding!!! Came with the soup or salad, broccoli, potato choice, and rolls. Again a tad overpriced comparing location, but food was very good.
Staff was nice, service was good, and made was clean… and they had great dinner music. Sinatra was the right choice.

Go try it, get that WTH expression with your friends/date/spouse, and enjoy a great dinner!!

Outstanding place! Ignore the old reviews as there is a new owner as of Jan 2025. The new owner (Dexter) is very cool and gave us a tour. The prime rib was fantastic! As was the filet. Also, don’t skip the fried potato salad! This place really needs some word of mouth action as it’s great spot. Food was way better that JB hooks. Good wine selection as well. And there was live music while we were there. Very cool old school vibe.

Service was very good. Atmosphere was nice. My Rib Eye was cooked to perfection medium rare ! My girlfriends pasta was very good! Our friends steaks n prime rib they said were great ! The owner Dexter came to check on us to see how everything was. We all said we enjoyed our dining experience n will return !

Everything was wonderful! This place has been reopened by a new owner since January and he has really done his work! The food was excellent! Thank you so much for the amazing food, service, and atmosphere!
