Worst experience I've ever had boating. They sent my family and I out WITHOUT the plug in the boat. I remember when i had my first beer. I should have known when we showed up the owner was talking about still being drunk the night before from a bachelor party. It's all about someone's response, if folks make a mistake and own it, im good to go. Not one word of accountability came out of this clowns mouth. No apologies, no conversation about anything, no nothing. The lack of empathy and understanding is truly a shame. Please consider your family and be careful when renting a boat from this crew. Any tow service you need is your responsibility. Do the math on what that costs on a labor day weekend. 🤔 As a paying client you expect to be sent out in a sound watercraft, especially with you4 family in tow, that's not what you get when you rent from LOTO.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY - OUR CAPTAIN WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE WHILE DRIVING THE BOAT. To start off our experience, the captain told us to go to the wrong place to be picked up (costing us 20+ minutes of the time we paid for). Then they forget the two lily pads they promised us. They also did not have anchors on either boat we rented which was an issue when we wanted to cove up. To top it all off, one of the captains (Marty) was UNDER THE INFLUENCE WHILE DRIVING THE BOAT. Yep that’s right. We hired a sober driver and got a high/drunk captain. He almost capsized the boat not once, but TWICE. Resulting in some of the girls on board to lose phones and other personal belongings. The captain did not apologize, but instead laughed after the incident. Once we got to our destination, we opted to end our rental two hours early, due to how unsafe we felt. We then attempted to contact the owner to let them know what happened and he ended up screaming profanities at us, telling us we were “just drunk little girls” and we wouldn’t be getting our money back. Again, no apology or remorse. We waited until the end of the weekend to send a formal email stating everything that happened and simply asking for our money back. But again, we were greeted with nothing but an incredibly rude response, no remorse or accountability, and no compensation. The owner denied, denied, denied. Stated that we had “no evidence” and we signed a waiver basically stating they take ZERO responsibility for who they hire to drive the boats, which is honestly disgusting. We are currently having a LAWYER look into this because what happened to us this weekend was nothing short of traumatic, unjust, and unethical. This establishment should not be in business. I would never recommend to even my worst enemy.

Attended a bachelorette trip this weekend and had rented two boats from this company neither boats had anchors..fortunately we had friends nearby that had extra anchors on their boat we could borrow.
We had a boat driver named Marty & almost capsized the boat twice, I understand water can be unpredictable, Although his lack of accountability and professionalism in such a terrifying situation didn’t make it better. I could go on and on, pretty sure captain marty was under the influence aswell. Contacted owner and was dismissive of our concern with rude responses, I wish this company could swallow their pride and validate their paying customers. Don’t waste your money!

My friend rented 2 boats for her bach party with a captin ,for starters , both captains did not have anchors with them to anchor the boat .. we got our own anchors from a friends boat . THEN , we had almost CAPSIZED on main chanel …as I know the lake of the ozarks can be very rough , but this situation was extremely dangerous and scary. After the boat was half submerged in water and was starting to tip over , I held my friends leg from falling into the main chanel and people loosing their phones and purses… the captin was acting like it was no big deal and then proceeded to show us photos of other accidents he has caused at the ozarks.. it was a photo of a boat on top of a gas tank on the dock that had a boat full of people on it.. he had accidentally flored the gas while parking. The entire Bachlorette was crying and upset, and he’s showing us photos of other accidents as if what we just went through was a joke. We then started to almost capsize a second time!!! The second boat behind us had seen the entire thing and was very concerned also very upset when we arrived at our location .I have been on boats my entire life and was appalled by his driving for being said a driver for 28 years. I would’ve rather been told we should avoid any bars/restaurants in a pontoon on the main channel then the danger and negligence we experienced. The captin on the 2nd boat told us he was high and workers from the restaurant claimed he seemed drunk when parking the boat. The company denies our claimes saying they’re not credible and things like this happen in the main channel and it was ultimately our decision to go on it. Offered us $100 towards renting a boat for next time .. a great day at the lake quickly turning into a nightmare and grateful we were okay and wish the company would take accountability of their drivers and make things right with the customers who use them. Safety is not a concern to this company

If I could write a negative review I would. This company is completely unprofessional and takes 0% accountability for actions that were cause by a paid boat driver. MARTY one of the drivers we used for our weekend got a group of our girls in the middle of the main channel in the water knowing that waves were incredibly high and went straight for the huge waves and slowed down and didn’t try to accelerate like you should when coming at a massive wave head on.
Our driver for our other half of the party David was very professional and drove more to the side when he reached the high waves. I’ve been coming to the lake since I was a kid and have had very many close calls with boats tipping, capsizing, etc.
with all of those the drivers of those boats were driving to avoid the huge waves which sometimes is out of your control but these situations were managed appropriately. In the case of Marty as he started he’s been operating boats for over 30 years, you could not tell. He drove right towards them and cause the whole front of the boat to tip forward because he slowed down.
He took 0 accountability and the company as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

We kayaked out of LOTO Boat rental. The kayaks were open top and were pretty good. The lake was rather bumpy for kayaks, but it was a pretty location. The office staff lady was very helpful and helped us in and my parents out. When I came back later, the lady had left and the man down around the boats made no effort to help us out of the water. So I scrambled out on my own and then helped my friend out. No one was there to stack the kayaks or tell us where to put their gear. Their priorities are definitely renting their powered boats, not renting their kayaks.

They have the best boat and kayak rentals at lake of the Ozarks. I had so much fun kayaking and fishing on the lake it was incredible. And their prices were so affordable. I will be definitely renting with them again this summer. I loved it!!!!!

Gave us a boat with dents, holes in seats, and a motor that barely runs. We could only go 13mph. They showed up late when they told us to be early. Do NOT rent from here.

Absolutely amazing service, they wanted us to have a really fun family reunion, accommodated our group at the last minute. Prices were very reasonable too.
We will most definitely be renting from Loto again.

When I reached out online for more information, I was contacted immediately and all of my questions were answered. Great staff. The boat and floating devices were a fun time, and we had the best driver - Randy!

These owners are tied with the lounge were one the physco Musi and crumpled up military service members ID and thrown it in trash and gave them a huge aggression if they allowed it never offered any apology too service members
