First time we went my wife’s $65 steak was cold and daughters chicken piccata was gross, there was 8 of us dining that night none of us were impressed whatsoever with our entrées-
A month later I figured I’d give it a second chance, the front hostess got us seated right away we then waited for 25-30 mins and no one brought us water or ask for a drink Order nothing didn’t even acknowledged us being there ! literally only three other tables in the dinning room on a 7pm Friday night maybe a total of 10 ppl including us, so not busy at all. I really think their 4.4 rating is doctored from owners friends and family cause this restaurant is not all that.
We walked out and went to jb hooks got seated on the spot and had a fabulous time.
Spend your money at baxters, jb hooks, Bentleys or horseshoe bend

Kid-friendliness: The waitress, busser's were absolutely the best at the lake! I met Brent he is really super nice definitely a people person. A little partial to the place, three of my grandkids work there. They, Brent, Lori and crew treat my grandkids like family. All the workers seemed like they were all related but they are not. I give them 10+++. If you really like lobsters and steaks that's the place to go!!!!

We've been to Michael's multiple times before and have always had a good experience. And we were happy when we left. Tonight was not the case. We had reservations for five and checked in only to hear that they would clean a table and be ready soon. Meanwhile, another group of four came in a few minutes after us and was sat immediately. Upon our arrival at our table, we noticed that the four had a table right next to us. Seems like they were more important than us. But we ordered drinks only to have them brought to the table and one of our orders was a Vodka and tonic tall. The waitress delivered it and it was in a small glass. (Smaller than two of the other drinks requested.)The waitress even mentioned that they didn't have the drink in a tall glass as ordered, but then did nothing about it. My friend was a bit put off because even though the waitress knew about it, she did nothing to correct it. Eventually I ordered a vodka and tonic for him to be out in my tab. Then our food came. (And it did seem to take a while) I ordered the grilled prime rib and it was a bit overdone, (I ordered medium), but it was doable. But not the normal experience. Another friend ordered a filet medium well. (They have a disclaimer about not being responsible for med well or well done steaks) But it was extremely blackened grilled and crispy and just looking at it would seem to say it's way overdone. She didn't eat much of it. Disappointing. In addition I had asked for a glass of wine shortly after receiving my meal and got the glass with one bite of prime rib left. Again, disappointing. But what bothered me the most is the fact that never was there ever an ask of "how is everything". Just seemed like it was take the order, get them the food, and get them out. We have never felt this way after having a dinner there. I hope it's a one off, but because they were not busy on the 3rd of July, we talked about is there something going on that we don't know about. We'll most likely be back at some point, but because of what we spent, and the indifferent service level, it might be a while. We want you to do better. Hopefully you take this positively and correct the inefficiencies.

Lovely local steakhouse. We chose it to celebrate our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. The service was exceptional; both of our waitresses were kind, efficient, and on top of our entire experience - kudos to Laurie for her exceptional service!!
We were a large group - our food was good, although several dishes came out at the wrong temperatures - but they changed them for us right away after we told them. One of the owners offered us a bottle of sparkling wine on the house to toast for our parents - such a kind gesture.
Overall, would definitely recommend as a local spot to try. Huge portions, exceptional service, and good food.

Views were amazing! We were the first table of the evening and got to choose where we wanted to sit. I was excited about having prime rib. Unfortunately my medium prime rib was was cooked medium well and tough. My spouse ordered the broccoli soup but it tasted like potato leek soup. Still it was delicious. We had lobster bites as appetizer. They were pretty good. Some of the windows facing the lake were cloudy as if the seal was broken. As many people come here for the view, I would replace these soon. Service was good, atmosphere and views great, food average, unfortunately.

Recommended to us by an associate manager at Margaritaville, this restaurant was amazing. This restaurant by the lake has gorgeous views and a peaceful atmosphere that adds to the unique dining experience of the Ozarks. The homemade chips, friendly service, and mouthwatering food just made it even better.I highly recommend their Ooey Gooey Butter cake. We took that to go and savored every bite. This was well worth the price and the stop.Make reservations beforehand, though, so that they will for sure be able to fit you in.
