On the Rise Restaurant

Cold food that took a long time to arrive, infrequent drink refills, mediocre self serve coffee, and too expensive sums up my experience. The food tasted pretty decent so it's 3 stars instead of 2.

Divine. My daughter said it was the best meal she ever tasted and it’s certainly in my top ten. The coffee was delicious and my daughter’s hot cocoa was perfect.
The hostess is not a fan of children which was entertaining because only one table was without them. But once you get past her..

Omg I can’t say enough about this place!!! We all LOVED it!!! Our server, Hannah, was incredible. Period. She went above and beyond and knew our every need before we did! The food- wow. Just WOW. I will always, always eat here and send people your way, when in the area. As someone who spent almost 20 years in the service industry- please believe me when I tell you, this spot has it ALL. 10/10 will recommend to all the friends. Thanks for making our girls bday so special Hannah. We just LOVE YOU!!!! 😍

My wife and I got the opportunity to try this place over the weekend and was absolutly incredible!! I only wish we had this gem in Kansas City.. The entire staff made us feel like home and beautifully decorated on the inside! and out. We will be back again and again when at the lake. and would recommend if you haven't tried On The Rise to give it a try! Wait till you try the eggs benedict!!!!😀 Thank you staff!!!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast of Eggs Benedict today at our favorite spot—On the Rise Bistro at the Lake of the Ozarks—and once again, it did not disappoint!

Our lattes were creamy and delicious, the food was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the atmosphere was as inviting as ever. A special shoutout to Hannah, our server, who was incredibly kind and attentive—she made the experience even better.

If you’re visiting the Lake, I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast or lunch. This place continues to be one of our go-to favorites for a reason!

Absolutely loved eating at this place! Cheryl (the owner) was greeting customers as they walked in and she was very friendly to us and everyone we were with. The service was great, we got the beignets and they were delicious, just like the ones we had in New Orleans! I got a house latte coffee and the bananas foster French toast, meal was on point and so was the service. Cheryl came and checked on us while we were eating as well! This place runs very smoothly and the bakery has the best dessert and to-go treats to take with you! I’ll always try making time to eat here while at the lake!

Our breakfast with friends was a delightful experience. My husband and I love coffee shops and breakfast especially with good friends. OnThe rise is a beautiful inviting experience with both inside and outside seating. The menu has coffee, lattes, candied bacon pancakes that are to die for and so much more. My husband had the french toast which was so very good. The servers are very attentive and professional. It is a clean and beautiful place. It is a bit more pricey but worth it.

Awesome food and experience! Gourmet breakfast, made to order. Warm atmosphere and exceptional service. Not inexpensive, but definitively worth every penny. A+++

Great restaurant for coffee and breakfast. We stopped at On The Rise and had such a wonderful experience, breakfast and lattes. Our server was amazing and we sat outside in a very cozy setting. It was one of the very best breakfasts we’ve had at the Lake!
