Unimpressed and overpriced.

Had a 20 min wait for a table, didn’t seem all that busy but fine. Soon figured out why. Once sat, we ordered a Bloody Mary and a mimosa.
Bloody was room temperature and tasted just like a generic store bought pre mix.
mimosa was fine.
Ordered drinks and food at the same time, it took 45 minutes for food to come out.
Wife got the tri-tip Eggs Benedict. The yolk was way overcooked, basically a hard boiled egg. And the bread was tough. Needed the steak knife to cut it.
I had biscuits and gravy and a side of sausage. The sausage is a super sweet maple flavored hot dog. Very strange, and not enjoyable. B&G was acceptable.
Service was not great either. Didn’t check on us at all. Only touched the table to get the order and drop the food.
Overall we were there for nearly 2 hours and the check was $98 before tip. Would not recommend.

***DID NOT DISAPPOINT***
I have eaten here multiple times with the same results. This place checks all the boxes. Great atmosphere, food, and service! The food will take a little longer than a fast food chain because it is made fresh. Don't let the negative reviews scare you. It's a fantastic place to eat!!

The restaurant is cute! I was very excited when I saw the options on the menu. Sadly, the food all fell flat. There was an odd taste to the potatoes, pretty sure they were frozen not made fresh. Fresh fruit was mushy, all other dishes were very bland tasting. The server seemed annoyed when we sat down, but warmed up and was a bit more pleasant. When it came time to pay, splitting the check evenly was a challenge. It was divisible by 3. I think they have good ideas and the menu options sound delicious, but the cooks cannot execute. Maybe scale back and perfect a few options. I may try it again someday. One positive, the raspberry Melba served with beignets, was so good!

I recently visited this fantastic restaurant with a group of 8, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were seated immediately, and our drink orders were taken right away. The service was outstanding—our server was attentive and made sure my water cup was always full, which I truly appreciated as a fast drinker!

The menu is a brunch lover's dream, offering a plethora of delicious options. We all indulged in various dishes, and the Eggs Benedict was a standout favorite among our group. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it's safe to say we all left feeling satisfied and happy—perhaps a little too satisfied since we're all in need of a long nap now!

If you're looking for a place with a diverse menu, upscale atmosphere, and exceptional service, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their amazing offerings!

Like so many places here at the lake, it's overpriced for what you get. The beignets are indeed quite yummy but their Monte Cristo has mozzarella cheese on it for Christ's sake...it's not a pizza people! Oh and they use thick slices of French bread instead of English muffins on their eggs benedict...good luck slicing thru that hard crust. It is a beautiful looking place but need to get it right.

Do not recommend! One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Ordered eggs Benedict and when it arrived, the server spilled it on my shirt. She promptly brought me napkins and offered me toast to make up for it, which I declined. I received my check and it showed no discount. Not expecting a huge discount or anything but something to make up for the ruined shirt. After asking about it I was offered a 34 cent discount. I did speak with the manager, Sheryl, who was extremely rude. She offered me at 10% discount if I did not call and speak with the manager, Mike. I can not explain how rude Sheryl was. She is the exact reason I will never return. I was also told the stain on my shirt was small. Picture attached.

The short version of this review is to just skip this place.
We arrived around 11:45, it wasn’t busy but we did have to wait about 15 minutes to sit due to low staff.
We were seated, and got water right away and our drink orders were taken fairly quickly. We both ordered coffee, which took over 15 minutes to arrive. I got the house-honey, cinnamon (decaf), and vanilla and my partner got the salted carmel. They both tasted burnt- this is especially noteworthy because they were from two different roasts (again, I had decaf & my partner did not).
It took 30-40 minutes to get our food. We had the strawberrries and cream French toast, biscuits and gravy, chicken & waffles, and potatoes.
We each took one bite of the French toast and hated it. I tried to take another bite after 10 minutes or so- thinking maybe the first bite just wasn’t good and I literally couldn’t even chew it. I was the worst French toast I’ve ever had. The chicken was very underseasoned and more soft than crispy (it was fried, so I expected crispy). The waffles were okay- the dish came with two waffles and collectively we ate *almost* a whole waffle and half of the chicken- but the dish as a whole was underwhelming.
The biscuits and gravy (& potatoes) definitely saved the day, and we were so glad we ordered it or we would’ve left hungry. Aside from the biscuits and gravy, we didn’t finish anything, not even our coffees. Our total was $68 which is pretty average pricing in our dining experience. I wouldn’t be frustrated about the price if almost everything wasn’t so unpleasant. We are fans of left overs, and elected to not take anything to go. The photo is all of the food we left behind.
Our server was friendly. Once our food arrived she was pretty attentive. So this place gets 2 stars for their service and their biscuits and gravy.
Overall, we won’t be back and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this place. Save your time and money.
