While they don't have a large area, they do deliver next door to Woodys bar and have an outdoor section for nice days. If you get a chance, try them out. Delicious!“

“Stopping by Andy’s Frozen Custard in Osage Beach, MO, was one of the highlights of my trip! I’d heard great things, but it still exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived, the smell of fresh custard and the lively, inviting atmosphere drew me in. Even with a line, the service was quick and friendly, and the staff seemed genuinely enthusiastic about helping each customer.

I ordered the Ozark Turtle Concrete, and it was absolute heaven in a cup. The custard was rich, creamy, and packed with caramel, pecans, and chocolate – perfectly blended for that smooth, melt-in-your-mouth experience. It was a nice surprise that they offered such generous portions, too! I tried a bite of my friend’s Strawberry Shortcake Sundae, and it was equally delicious, with fresh strawberries and a light, fluffy cake.

The location is also a big plus, right off the main strip and close to the lake, making it a perfect treat stop. Andy’s has plenty of seating outside, so you can enjoy your custard while taking in the Osage Beach vibes. For anyone with a sweet tooth in the area, Andy’s Frozen Custard is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!“

“My friends and I were going hiking in Ha Ha Tonka State Park and needed lunch provisions, so I suggested Dierberg’s Market. I remember it being such a great option the last time I’d visited Osage Beach, and I was not disappointed. Its selections were as bountiful as I remember, and EVERYONE was so helpful! The manager (Ro Witt, I believe) was up at the front and directed us to all the aisles where we’d find what we were looking for; Loretta in Health and Beauty helped us with our supplements questions and was a hoot to talk with; and the two ladies in the Deli section were SO helpful—one came out from behind the counter to help us locate the specific types of sandwiches we were looking for. The three of us ended up with a sushi plate, a chicken wrap, and a market-made roast beef sandwich. We also picked up fresh fruit and—of course—two silly soaps to give as souvenirs. Jack checked us out up front and was lovely to chat with as he rang up our purchases. We’re all from Kansas City, and my two friends kept remarking how impressed they were with Dierberg’s offerings and how wonderful everyone was on staff. And that’s why I’ll return to Dierberg’s every time I’m in the area!“

“I want to start out by saying I think I caught Blue Cat on a bad day, so I will give them another chance, but the food was not great. The service was okay and the waitress was very nice.

“They had outdoor seating near the swimming pool for the inn. The view was spectacular. Kenzie was an excellent server. She was knowledgeable about the daily special and helped guide us to the perfect bottle of wine. We enjoyed a meat and cheese board. Those marinated olives were wonderful.“

If you can catch Dale Blue, he is very entertaining and talented! However they also bring in so much local talent to make your experience one you won’t forget!! “Thank you for a great experience. We had a group of 50+ on a Wednesday and the staff did an excellent job. Thanked us for coming and kept checking on us. We ended up staying for the majority of the day. With this big of group not everyone on the lake dug in and smiled through it like your staff did. Bravo for training your staff to embrace challenges.“

“Holy cow Batman! (He might also have been there) This is a place to oggle the muscle or the curves....or the 2k+ horsepower boats. Occasionally the bartender gets snotty but it was 93 so I'll cut him a 3 star. Git yerself a bucket of cheap beers and boogie to the music and waste a sunny, hot afternoon. (BTW, some genre of Budweiser is considered a premium beer so watch it)“

“We really enjoy Docknockers. There menu is NOT the typical burgers and pizza you get at all the other lake restaurants. The blackened grouper tacos are delicious and probably my favorite! The staff are fun and attentive and the owner will sit and have a conversation with you when he's there. Beautiful view of the main channel and plenty of boat parking. Dog friendly, people friendly too! They'll be closing in Oct. So get there fast!“
