Wow, this place was so great. We highly recommend the crab cakes as an appetizer. My husband got the catfish blt, and I had the new orleans medley; both were amazing! The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly, the fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The jambalaya and red beans and rice were incredible, the sausage was excellent, and the crawfish ettouffee was to die for. We will definitely be back!

The server was very nice but never took any of our dishes after we were done eating. I don't like dirty dishes on the table when we sit to talk. I tired to offer the plates to her but she told me to leave them on the table

Just passing thru town and stopped at Shorty Pants on a Wednesday evening. The food was amazing. I started with a cup of the shrimp and sausage gumbo. It was fabulous, so good in fact that I ordered a bowl of it to go for later. I also had the Oyster PoBoy and a side of fried okra. The oysters and the okra were perfectly cooked. In addition to the food being awesome, all staff members that I interacted with were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I only wish I lived close enough to make this establishment a regular stop. Great job guys & girls.

This place is a hidden gem! Best Cajun food in the area hands down. I had shrimp and crayfish etouffee with gumbo wow my tastes bud were ready to try other dishes after one bite it was so good. Setting by the lake and watching jet skis and boats pull up to eat was a great experience as well. Not to mention feeding the fish and ducks while you eat. All in all great experience no matter the occasion!
