How anyone could rate this place under 5 stars is beyond me but I digress this food is i swear sent from the heavens every single bit of it, if I could give more than 5 stars I would, like the fact that at 5pm after busting hump all day the two staff members were friendlier than any fast food place ever. That alone puts this place number 1 on my barbecue takeout or dine in.

The brisket was amazing! Wait staff kind and courteous. Ribs were so tender but still had a bite to them, green beans and cheesy corn were amazing along with the baby gold potatoes! Id give this place a solid 4.7 out of 5!

Food was unbelievably good. I’ve been to many bbq joints across the U.S. , this one is one of the best I’ve had. Portions are very fair, food was all fresh and tasted amazing.

My first few experiences were good so i put 2 stars but the last time I went
The brisket was definitely bad. I attempted to bring it to the lady's attention, she you got defensive and loud, I had not eaten much of it but, it was enough to be sick for 2 days. It was like extremely slimy even. For what they charge a plate. It was a shame.

Our waitress or hostess that took our order was RUDE! Very rude. Like burn out rude. Ordered the 2 meat platter and it was more like a sample size serving she gave. There is a $3 up charge for all mac n cheese. Special BQ pork sandwich with side and drink. The sandwich was nothing but the burnt from brisket

We had SJ cater an anniversary party, even though we'd never yet tried their food. What a smart decision! The brisket and pulled pork were tender and juicy and everyone raved in particular about the turkey-- thick slices of high quality meat that made converts out of the professed non-turkey lovers. They also provided a range of truly unique sauces (but the meat needed nothing, honestly), and we loved the chunks of meat in their beans. I also appreciated the fantastic customer service from Reagan and Tara during the planning/ordering stages (these are friendly, patient people). Overall, you can't go wrong, and we can't wait to visit the restaurant and re-live our wonderful experience.

We picked up some pork ribs and a couple of sides last Friday night for dinner. The food was delicious - the rack of ribs was moist and quite tasty. My wife thought the green beans were great and we split the potatoes. Great find!

Ribs were dry. Not very flavorful. Expensive. Stale corn bread. Costco ribs are better.

This was my first experience with Missouri style BBQ. The food was authentic and delicious and the staff were friendly and amiable. I would highly recommend this place. Make sure to get the cheesy corn and the potato salad.
