How anyone could rate this place under 5 stars is beyond me but I digress this food is i swear sent from the heavens every single bit of it, if I could give more than 5 stars I would, like the fact that at 5pm after busting hump all day the two staff members were friendlier than any fast food place ever. That alone puts this place number 1 on my barbecue takeout or dine in.
The brisket was amazing! Wait staff kind and courteous. Ribs were so tender but still had a bite to them, green beans and cheesy corn were amazing along with the baby gold potatoes! Id give this place a solid 4.7 out of 5!
We had SJ cater an anniversary party, even though we'd never yet tried their food. What a smart decision! The brisket and pulled pork were tender and juicy and everyone raved in particular about the turkey-- thick slices of high quality meat that made converts out of the professed non-turkey lovers.
