Service and food has always been superb when dining in I chose to use the drive through at noon today, Dec 9, 2025. Awful is the only thing I can say. No eye contact with the window attendant— burger was stone-cold (cheese didn’t even melt) — the fries were also cold but they tasted like they’d been fried in old grease. What a disappointment. The cola was excellent though.

Went in with the family to have a nice meal after waiting awhile to be seated and for the drinks to be ordered my drink tasted flat so I asked for a new one three times they brought it out and said they fixed it I understand its not always going to be perfect but then the cook had to start getting loud saying he has already changed it well time went on still no drink then we get the food and mine had a huge thumb hole in the burger. The waitress was either on something or just overworked not a good experience at all
Went to Steak and Shake because my husband remembered this restaurant from his childhood in Illinois. Did not disappoint his memories. Prices here are very low!! We had Chili Mac and soda and got out for a bit over $20. Oh! The tallow fries are delish -> new memory!
