My favorite is the Steak & Shrimp with grits. The gyro is great. The soups and salads are awesome. Everything is really good it's a great place to eat.

We ordered the Jerk Chicken bowls and a beet salad to go and it was ready before we even got there. The food was absolutely fantastic. Seriously. The reviews made it sound amazing, and it truly was. Great flavors and freshness. My ONLY request would be to put the hot food in recycled packaging instead of plastic. Otherwise, I can say this is the best takeout I’ve had in a long time!

Husband, daughter (12yo) and I stopped here for a bite to eat while on our extended weekend getaway on a Sun afternoon. You order from a front counter and then sit at your table of choice. Hole in the wall, SUPERB! eatery as it is! Ordered was the chicken and waffles, Philly cheese steak and poke bowl with a couple of drinks. Normally, there are alot of leftovers we take with us, this time, a piece of chicken and heart of a waffle was it! So, serving size, on point! Price, one asks?, reasonable, for sure. We concluded chicken and waffles was probably the highest bc of lack of popularity and not sold as often as the other menu items, but still good for taste and flavors. When my family travels we LOVE these joints, so if you're in the area, hit this place up, you WONT be disappointed!

My wife and I visited for the first time today, and we were truly impressed! The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious.
My wife had just finished a three-hour glucose test due to her pregnancy and was feeling pretty rough. I suggested she might need some carbs instead of just a salad. A few minutes after out food arrived, the staff surprised her with an order of fries. You have no idea how much she needed that!!!
Your act of kindness meant the world to us. We highly recommend this restaurant, and it's now one of our favorite spots at the Lake. We can't wait to come back!!
Recently had a chance to try out this restaurant for the first time. I gave it a shot due to the stellar reviews that had been posted. My wife and I were greeted by a very friendly staff. Everyone we encountered were great and seemed very happy that we were there. The food was excellent. I had shrimp and grits and my wife had shrimp and steak on grits. Both of us like to give shrimp and grits a shot when we see it in the Midwest. Rarely does it stack up to what we have had in the deep south in places like Charleston and Savannah. This was the exception. I think it was as good as Charleston's examples. If the rest of the menu is as solid as our first experience you can't go wrong here. The staff said the Gyros were very popular. I may try one when I go back, but it will be hard not to do the same dish again. Give it a shot. Full five stars.

Real nice spot! The Strawberry Fields salad, delicious and fresh! Jerk Chicken Bowl was delicious too. Also got the ooey gooey butter cake that they advertised on a sign, so it may not be on the menu full-time. It was delicious! Service is friendly and quick.

Came to the Midwest from the Deep South years ago, this is the first place i feel like I could taste home. The shrimp and grits taste like it came straight from the French quarter. The owner greets everyone immediately, very friendly, good conversation, the food is just excellent and so decently priced. I also have a picky toddler who doesn’t usually eat at restaurants and she loves the grilled cheese option! Hope this place stays around and continues to grow their menu!
