I usually don’t leave bad reviews if they offend me bc everyone is entitled to how they feel. So, the reason I’m writing this bc i think it’s offensive to a culture, country, millions of people, etc. I tried the Japanese teriyaki tacos. I also finished them. Not bc they were good. Quite the opposite, actually. I put my lips on these wet tacos bc I’m a superstitious Asian man that was raised by a tiger mom, who’s a hypocritical Buddhist, and told me I’d pay in one way or another in the form of maggots for any food I waste in the afterlife. My tongue was met with confusion, anger, and disgust that they had the audacity to call this over seasoned dog vomit-esque taco, (with what I’d have to guess is Japanese 5 spice and soy sauce) Japanese teriyaki. The only redeeming “feature” of the tacos was the salsa that didn’t belong. The fries were sub par but could be elevated by throwing them in an air fryer. As I sit here with the empty boat in front of me, still can’t believe what just happened. It was just plain offensive.
Things to consider: I order 20 minutes before they closed. That might change a few things, though still is acceptable. So maybe they were so ready to close up and get out of the heat that they just eyeballed with their eyes closed when they threw those tacos together and pulled my fries before they were ready. Who knows. Try it anyway?
Quesadilla was wonderful! Mac and cheese bites were just not for me. Not bad though! Creamy Kraft kind of Mac and cheese
