Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar

Oscar was my server here last week, and the service he gave me and my friend was the best we have had, probably ever. He is extremely personable, friendly and suggestive. You can definitely tell he enjoys his job!!! Keep this one around!! We will be back.

A great value for my dinner.

We didn’t get greeted when we first came in. Was told it would be a 5-10 minute wait. I waited almost 40 minutes before walking out. Wasn’t even handed a menu to look at while I was waiting a ridiculous amount of time. There were at least 10 sets of people who had walked out. Why we were waiting for so long I have no idea why. And this has been the second time we have attempted to come here in the last year.

Honestly wish I could give a half a star, that being for the food. Our server, I believe his name was Nic, was careless and very inattentive, just seemed lazy and rude overall. I hate that it ruined the whole experience for us. Will not be coming back to this location and hope for better luck at one of the ones in Springfield.

Fairly clean establishment including the restrooms. We all liked the spinach dip and calamari. The fries had seasonings,but not much flavor. Crispy if you like crispy fries. Our burgers were very well done which we had ordered medium. Such a disappointment since the flavor of the burger toppings were overpowered by the very chard meat. The sauce on the burger had a very pig farmy smell taste to it. Quite strange, nothing I would ask for . Not sure what this is from. The waiter was friendly, offered refills and was average on service. It was Father's day so I give grace to the kitchen as it can get hectic I'm sure. If not for being Father's day, We did have the wrong burger brought to us,but it was corrected within a reasonable amount of time. Small portions for the entree is an accurate description.

Very disappointed tonight. Waited 17 minutes for someone to come over to take drink and food orders. 2 other families came in after us and got service right away.

Its a good big whiskeys. Solid wings and very kind servers.

The manager Kim was amazing! She was extremely personable and took care of me and my son along with the rest of the staff! We will definitely be back just because of this perfect experience! Big Whiskey is lucky to have Kim!

Better then grandma pork chops. Are very good.

We absolutely love this restaurant! Make sure to ask for Maddie! She has been out server 3 times now and is just the sweetest. Also, a shout out to manager Liz for always stopping by to make sure everything is just right.
