This is exactly the kind of place every community should rally behind. A locally owned, veteran-owned restaurant that delivers outstanding food, exceptional service, and an atmosphere filled with meaning.
The food was phenomenal—fresh, well-prepared, and clearly made with pride. The atmosphere is truly one of a kind. Every artifact tells a story, honoring our nation’s past and the great heroes who served this country and the United States military. You don’t just eat here—you experience history, respect, and gratitude woven into every corner of the space.
Service was excellent from the very first interaction all the way through closing out the bill—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely appreciative of their customers.
If you believe in supporting local businesses, honoring veterans, and preserving the stories of those who served, this place deserves your business. I highly recommend it for everyone from 0 to 100 years old.

Good food and atmosphere
We stopped here on our way to Branson. We'd thought about going to the roll place across the street, but we've been there before and this place actually had better reviews. The food was great - I had the French dip sandwich with onion rings and my husband had the catfish special with fries and coleslaw. I would come back again as there were so many items on the menu that I wanted to try and it was a difficult decision to narrow down what to order. Ashley was our waitress and she was friendly and helpful. If you are a veteran, you will like this place with all its military photos and memorabilia on the walls - even in the restrooms.
Yeah this place is the best. THE END.

Food was really good! Always surprising when the kids love a place and say they want to go back. The frys were my favorite personally! The woman's bathroom was super cute as well!! We are a find the holes in the wall type restaurant, they are our favorite to find! Thankful for Facebook with someone advertising this place!!

Food was good, service could have been a little better but not bad . Atmosphere is different certainly not a date night place.
The fries were cold to thick and lacked crisp, won’t order them again.

While visiting Springfield, we stopped at Cafe B-29 for dinner and am so glad we did. The atmosphere and decor makes you take a minute to digest the amount of history and pride that is everywhere, floor to ceiling. The staff is warm, welcoming and professional. The food is from the freshest of ingredients, very well prepared and presented. Absolutely delicious!
It turned an ordinary evening dinner into a very rememberable meal. You need to experience all of it every chance you get. Great job Majah, you were a delight of a server.

Pinup salad was delicious.
Ruben sandwich, chopped corned beef, no stringy corned beef. Grilled to perfection! 😋
