I like the family and fun atmosphere. The food is pretty good, I think I'm just a little burnt out on Lambert's right now because I go there every time I travel between Branson and Kansas City . I'll be back later, though.

It's been a few years since we have ate here. As usual, we loved it! I caught a roll this time! My favorite sides are always the passarounds. I ordered a steak with green beans, mashed potatoes, and turnip greens. I was so full that I had to bring the rest home. We went to the gift shop afterwards and got a magnet to remember this trip. Last time we were here we bought a cup, which we still have.

Catching the rolls from across the dining room is unique to this place! And they are warm and good! Fried okra as a complimentary appetizer was good too.
I had a chicken fried steak. The batter was crispy, seasoned well and stayed attached to the meat. It was tender and had no gristle. I would recommend it!

Catch a roll, wonderful price, only cost for 2 people $40.00, not including tip. The environment was family-friendly; the staff was spot-on, and they made my bad day into a wonderful dinner.
