We’ve been in here a couple times now and I just cannot eat the food. I get waters for the family and this water is so thick and nasty tasting. It has no filter and is straight from the tap. If I were to order some sweet tea it’s going to taste just like the tap along with the food. Water filters are a thing. The times that I have come in, I ask for a couple of things and they constantly forget to bring me anything I’ve asked for. The service really isn’t good. The food is alright. I mean, you pay cheap prices you get cheap food. The food tastes like the water it’s cooked with. I’ve noticed a lot of people here in Missouri just settle for the quality of food because they don’t know what good quality is.

Dated, needs a good deep clean. Decorative stuff needs taken down and walls scrubbed. Walls looked like they havent been painted or dusted since smoking was allowed. The food and service was amazing! Typical old school diner. I would go back.

My husband and I hadn't ate at Sands in years until we knew some of the Ozark football and wrestling moms worked there. The food is typically good, but the service is great and is what always keeps us going back! We love Allie and she makes it so much fun for us. As long as our favorite waitresses are there we will continue going to Sands Cafe!

Lacey and the hobbit were great servers. Might come back for breakfast again!!

The food was so incredible that we completely forgot about 'phone eats first.' The pancakes were perfectly fluffy, and the brisket was nothing short of life-changing. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly.

Food is good, the atmosphere is nice and small town feels. Service Varies. It's good but not great. Food gets out fast but, depending on which waitress you get, you could be paid attention to when needing something or ignored and made to feel like you bothered them when asking for a refill or to go box. All the other waitresses are great and everyone else. The tall blonde has some issues.. if you're not a good looking guy for her to flirt with, you might as well hit up either the busboy or one of the other women who are awesome! Other then that, I Love this place. Highly recommend.
