Finley Farms Restaurant is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with stunning views that make the dining experience even more special. We had the shrimp and grits and the fried pork chop—both were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. We brought my husband’s aunt for lunch. She was so delighted because her father was a dairy farmer, and she reminisced about buying feed here. Good memories for her; great stories for us! Our meal was excellent in every way. We will certainly make it a point to come back any time we are in town.
The ambience was the best part. We could actually have a conversation because it was not loud and noisy. The service was excellent. The food was mostly fine, but, our particular order of catfish was overcooked to the point it was almost burnt. Our main issue was the drink prices. A glass of beer was $9. A double rum & coke was $20. They should just use their happy hour prices all the time - at least it would be a bit more reasonable.
