What a great place to gather for a meal with family or friends. The food is delicious the service is great I always make sure I stop by whenever I’m in the area.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finley Farms Restaurant is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with stunning views that make the dining experience even more special. We had the shrimp and grits and the fried pork chop—both were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The shrimp and grits were creamy and rich, while the pork chop was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The attention to detail in both the food and the ambiance truly sets this place apart. A must-visit for anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a beautiful setting! Can't wait to come back!
The Garrison was absolutely amazing!!! The food and experience was worth every penny. I have already recommended this to several friends. We will return!!!
Finley Farms is a local gem! I absolutely love this establishment, especially the Garrison. Also to note, Eryn is our favorite server and she is a great representation of Johnny Morris. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Highly recommend!
What a wonderful experience. Dinner contained of roasted chicken with chimichurri and butternut squash purée and crispy catfish with dill pickle chips and homemade cabbage coleslaw. Our server Colton was amazing, very attentive and made sure that he took very good care of us from the minute we sat down. Made an amazing recommendation of the mango Mojito. It was delicious.
Finley Farms is a wonderful place, it is especially a great place for people who want a day trip! This place is a full experience, by the workshop they have ripe watermelons, a sunflower patch, a cornfield, and many other varieties of flowers and plants! The workshop also has a barn, a clearance shopping area inside the work shop and you can walk around the patches of flowers! The Finley has a very nice chapel, a wonderful bridge, a great flight of stairs (with a great view), a couple rustic nice old time style buildings with the ability to prop your phone up and take pictures using the count down timer feature on your iPhone! They also have a restaurant called the garrison (i've never been to the restaurant, but heard great things about it!) Overall, I recommend this place to anyone interested in something a little different than the typical botanical gardens these days!!
Thank you for your feedback, Chan. We're glad to hear about your success with overcoming health issues. However, it seems that your review covers a medical treatment from Dr. Banlogun Sunday rather than issues related to our media services. Perhaps there has been a mix-up. Nonetheless, we wish you continued success on your health journey.
Our first time at The Garrison and it did not disappoint. The service was top notch from the host greeting us to our server Eryn who was absolutely fabulous. She went above and beyond. Secondly the food was by far the best meal we have ever had and we’ve been to a lot of fine dining restaurants. Can’t say enough about The Garrison as well as Finley Farms. Highly recommend and we’ll be back soon.
History frozen in time, combined with country elegance, great food and genuinely nice staff. highly recommended
First, the setting and building are beautiful. Exactly what you would expect from a Johnny Morris property. Just fabulous. The food, however...I've read review after review here and they have the same theme: under-seasoned, poorly prepared food. I just don't get why they aren't fixing this? So many comments from management about sharing this info with the food and beverage team, but nothing is changing. My dad and I had these huge slabs of catfish that were undercooked, under-seasoned and basically inedible. We both left about 90%. The slaw was...sorry, but it was disgusting. I did like the teensy potato chips. But that's about all the good I can say about it.

We ordered appetizers to dessert and enjoyed every bite. It’s a beautiful setting and an interesting story behind the farm. Service was excellent.
I took a highschool classmate from 1960 to the Mill as a surprise. we certainly got one. While the atmosphere met expectations the rest of our visit was very disappointing. We were there for Happy Hour. Leave it to say that the server we had made a real effort he needed more traning. The worst part of the visit was the food. We ordered two items from the menu that we found to be terrible. How you screw up a chip and dip is a real question. But they screwed it up monumentally. I assure you this was my last visit ever.
As an Ozark native, it is so cool to get to explore this mill that once just sat in the background of my younger days. You really get a glimpse into its beginnings and all through the role it played in the Ozark timeline. Such a neat tour! So well put together.
Am writing 2 reviews because each of us had very different opinions about this place. Mine is this one. Advertised on the interstate but we saw, if they were there we couldn't find anything when we got off the highway. We saw a sign pointing and we went the direction. Drove to a small town, saw nothing and turned around. As it happened we needed a restroom before continuing. We parked, when in, and coming out saw the place almost directly across from us. We had to wait as we were walk-ins, so be aware of that. We waited and wandered the building. When we were seated the server came over quickly. We ordered it took more time than is normal, but recognized it wasn't a typical 'off the interstate type place. I ordered the Mill Hamburger, the description made it interesting. Need to say the coffee was better than average and HOT! I enjoyed my meal. As expected the flavor was different but i enjoyed my meal. There was certainly enough as I didn't completely finish it. I might have been looking for it again when we travel this way, but her review is much different.
It was terrible. I’m not even sure what it was. Mostly liquid with a few little dumplings, and I could only find a couple of small pieces of chicken. The “fresh herbs” that they added to the broth just gave it a strange taste rather than enhanced it. You’ll be disappointed if you order it and are expecting anything like a standard chicken and dumplings. On the other hand, my girlfriend said that the catfish was good.
