I have eaten here several times. This visit to celebrate a birthday was the absolute best. I got to meet the owner/head chef. You can see him in my photos. They take cooking seriously. This is not a cheap place to eat but it is a choice place to dine. Reservations are recommended.

We did the tasting menu for my husband's birthday. The seats were by the cooking area. We could feel the wood fire, it was a bit unpleasant because it was loud and hot, but it was interesting to watch. They accommodated my onion allergy, but that often meant not getting the sauces everyone else got. The dry aged steak was good, my husband went crazy for that. The owner and chef came and talked to us about the wine and the courses.

My wife and I absolutely love ACRE! The crudo on our last visit as well delicious corm soup. We enjoy the staff and always feel
welcomed. One of the best places in Kansas City for dry aged steaks.
