Saturday evening, 6:00p. Party of four.
Drinks: Red wine, cosmo, white sangria - all, ok.
App: mozzarella sticks - cold. Sugo, also cold.
Entrees: Chicken parmesan - chicken was cold and had a waxy film over it, as if the ‘chef’ missed removing the piece of wax paper from the mozzarella cheese. Chicken fettuccini Alfredo: mediocre at best - loaded with uncooked garlic. Fettuccine carbonara: again, mediocre at best.
Location is very small, quaint, and dated.
Service is underwhelming and price is high for the quality received.
We were excited to try this ‘since 1931 local gem’, but it leave much to be desired.

We went to Franks last night, got there at 7 amd the old lady with dark hair made it clear that she didn’t want us ordering anything bc it was too close to closing time. We will never go back and I won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. People should really rethink being rude to new customers.

Best cannolis in Kansas City. Very friendly with my small children, so we will be back next time we are around.

Ordered a meatball grinder and it had Soo much garlic it burned my mouth, mushy. Worst food I have had for awhile. It. Sausage wasn't good either. Told waitress but she didn't give us a refund even though we didn't eat. Very small place.
Stay away

Always good. Took my son who doesn't like marinara or tomato stuff but loved the meatball plate appetizer. Cozy as heck and the lady in charge is always good for a conversation.
Frank’s Italian Restaurant in Parkville, MO, is a small gem that truly captures the essence of homemade Italian cuisine. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their fettuccine Alfredo with homemade salsa and shrimp, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The flavors were rich and authentic, making each bite a delightful experience.
The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant adds to its charm, making it a perfect spot for a casual yet memorable meal. To top it off, their tiramisu was the perfect end to a fantastic dinner—light, creamy, and utterly delicious.
Frank’s Italian Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Italian flavors in a warm, welcoming setting. Highly recommended!
