What a hidden treasure this restaurant Prima Facie in Parkville is! An experience to remember! From “first glance” the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic meal. Sophisticated appeal! Our waitress, Kait, was a standout during our visit. She greeted us with a genuine smile and took the time to ask for our names, what brought us in and made genuine conversation, making us feel valued as guests. Her kindness and personable nature truly enhanced our dining experience.
Kait's knowledge of the menu was impressive, particularly when it came to the selection of Spanish red wines. She expertly guided us through the options, helping us choose the perfect pairing for our meal.
To start, we ordered the Caesar salad with bread crumbs, and it did not disappoint! The freshness of the buttery romaine, combined with the creamy dressing and crunchy bread crumbs, created a delightful dish that was bursting with flavor. We also tried the steak tartare, which was exquisitely prepared. The seasoning was spot on, and the quality of the meat was top-notch.
Overall, Prima Facie offers a fantastic dining experience with great food and outstanding service. Kait's warmth and knowledge were the icing on the cake. I can't wait to return to bring my friends to dine in the Vault (yes they have a unique bank vault you can dine in!) We are eager to explore more of their delicious offerings! Highly recommended!

Prima Facie Bistro is a gem!
Dining here was a delightful experience. Both the pork chop and the salmon were absolutely excellent—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-quality meal in a great setting. I’m already looking forward to coming back--soon and often!
I returned to Prima Facie for another visit that exceeded expectations. The only suggestion I can make is to ensure the website menu is constantly updated to reflect the printed menus in the restaurant. I had my mouth set on something from the website that wasn't even on the printed menu. Ironically, the website would be easier to update than the printed menus.

My boyfriend and I came here for date night and left very happy. The dining area looks nice and is put together well. It's very lively but we scored a perfect table off to the corner. I noticed what looked like more private dining areas by the pianist if needed.(Awesome to have a pianist playing btw)
The food was great! The menu is more on the limited side but had all great options. The portions were good sized and prices were reasonable.
My date enjoyed the more unique dishes like bone marrow and I had the wedge salad. The steak was so tender it could be cut with a fork and the truffle fries were awesome. For dessert we ordered the bourbon peach cobbler and it was amazing. The drinks came out perfectly and everything came out well timed. The service was great. Everybody seemed knowledgeable and eager to help.
There were some unique touches such as the pianist, open kitchen, and a projection of an old movie playing in an empty space high on the wall. We had a great time and will definitely be back, hopefully to sit on the patio!

Being from Las Vegas I have dined at many 5 star restaurants. Prima was very much a delight! The food and ambiance were both excellent. I have dined at Prima several times and it is always a delight. What a great additional to Parkville and for that matter the Metro area. Excellent!

It was great food but we couldn’t hear one another at our own table. Two of the three meals were amazing the shrimp and grits were “ok” but once the shrimp was gone the grits were lacking. We went for my boyfriend’s birthday.
