This is great little spot in Parkville that needs tweaking. First of all the sidewinder nachos with pulled pork were really memorable and alone are an item worth returning for. That being said, the brisket and ribs when we visited (have been only once) need refining and were just "ok." I think the owner rang us up and served us and he seems like a solid guy working his tail off to make this restaurant succeed. I have been many times, and the food is always delicious and served quickly. The meat is tender and has a savory flavor; their cheesy corn is just the right amount of sweetness and cheese; and the prices are excellent. I was in yesterday and noticed they have added some items to the menu but not so many as to overwhelm you with choices. Also, eating in a train car as trains pass by is an added experience. Best BBQ around if your coming through Parkville!! Made my Fourth of July most memorable w my burnt ends, pulled pork nachos, cheese corn and beans!!! Award winning Owner Shannon is a Master at his craft....worth a Michelin Star! Look forward to my next visit....bringing the family back.
