Our favorite breakfast spot in the Parkville area. Simple and on point diner experience. Maybe first day of school breakfasts and other special memories made here with my family.

Clean. Delicious. Affordable. Checks all the boxes for a short-order breakfast spot nestled quietly across from a golf course with easy access to the highway.

After 15 years I still continue eating here. The great food, friendly wait staff and to die for pies. Still can’t get enough.

We had concluded this must be a Sundown restaurant.
We used to come here all the time but as of late I’ve been attending alone. I’ve been spoken to rudely by a few servers now. They seem angry that you’re even in there. But today cut the cake. I walked in quietly. Didn’t have much to say at 7am. I asked a couple questions about pricing vs a meal but no real service or answers were given except a few friend options so I passed and continued with my order.
But If you picture a resentful mom who smoked thru her entire pregnancy and then decided to open a diner…. That’s seems what happened here. These people are not happy to be working there. It went from novelty not nice to now, down right offensive.
I went to leave and stopped to look at pies only to hear the server and customers talking about me poorly. The audacity some people have to be comfortably rude, and maybe racist or classist. We are not white but our money sure spends the same. And our voice carry far to be so cavalier in this climate.
Guess they serve rudeness and crabbiness for free as a side to any dish you order.
Such a shame. Food was just mediocre.
Since the service sucks- it makes the extra two minutes further elsewhere totally worth the drive. The food was just okay to begin with. It’s breakfast- I wasn’t aware you could make it just as poorly. If I could give fewer stars I would.

This is a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Friendly staff and a cowboy/western decor welcomes you at the door.

The quintessential Missouri Dinner, down to earth, priced great food like your Mom made, great service, great pies, never have to wait. Customers return for a reason.

Overpriced junk food.
You get better food at a gas station for half the price.

Not sure if we just weren't in the target market here or what. Expect Dust bowl era food with minimal seasoning. Low effort in all areas. I sincerely hope they improve or drop their prices to match their quality.

Passing through on our way back home to Idaho, stopped by Roxanne’s Cafe and there were no regrets. Wonderful place with friendly people. The food was outstanding.

10/5 stars. Not much to say other than you will always leave full, happy, and plenty in your wallet. Closest thing to breakfast at grandma’s you’re gonna find.
