The food was excellent. I had the loaded tots and my wife had the blazen cheeseburger with fries. If you ever visit Sam A. Baker State Park, I highly recommend that you stop by.

Had the black bean burger and fries - and was surprised at just how good the food was. Service was good too, and the lady at the grill even called out to ask if it was okay. The atmosphere is clearly for families or large groups, which is okay - it's just odd for me as a single to be sitting at a table for +5. My only nit was that the salt and pepper shakers were sticky so I cleaned them myself.

There isnt Wifi, cell service, radio or tv for miles but theres this nice american food restaraunt. Fries are awesome. No ketchup needed really. Unless you just liks ketchup too. Fish and chips were perfect. Handed breaded catfish or white fish. Wasnt fishy at all which makes me think it wasnt catfish. Came with some good hush puppies. Grilled cheese was crispy, as in, lots of butter. I heard it was awesome. Cheeseburger was solid. You wont be disappointed. Chicken tenders are flattened and are as good as the fish. Cold canned soda. Theyll refill your Stanley with water.

Vegetarian options: Order the salad. I bet its big but didnt get it.

Dietary restrictions: You can get a salad and nachos. ?

Parking: Some gravel some paved. You got choices!

Kid-friendliness: Yes! Playground right there

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps!

My group ordered a chili burger with sweet potato fries and a normal burger with tater tots. It was delicious. I see some people are complaining about price and quality of food but for a campground grill it was pretty convenient, considering you're in the middle of nowhere. I would rely on this as a place to eat or something you have to go to but it was great for what it was.

Took us over 5 min to get waited on.. which not a huge deal but when we ordered I asked if they had unsweet tea, reply was “ we don’t have any tea and I don’t have time to make any”. I continued our order and sat down .. waiting for them to bring our drinks because that normally how it works … waited little more, finally asked if they could bring us our drinks, this seemed to inconvenience them but they did bring them. Bill was $61.14 for 3 adults, child 2y, and child 6y. Cheeseburgers, BLTs and French fries. I don’t care to pay $100 if the food is good and the service. We had neither, will never go back.

One of my favorite places to visit

The prices were a shocker, $15 for a cheeseburger, $9 fries. Granted, the burgers were great, and I understand the need for the prices, but for a state park most people are priced out of eating there. Staff was very friendly and the place was very clean.

We stopped for burgers and fries, and boy, were we seriously disappointed. Ordered the Baker Burger and even with the bar-b-que sauce, it still lacked any depth of flavor whatsoever. For 2 burgers, a side of fries and a side of cheese tots, it was roughly $35. Will most definitely not return. Much better food for half the price literally anywhere else!
