Wow! We haven't been here since new owners took over, and they are doing an outstanding job. Finally, have a new local breakfast restaurant. Our group had omelets, pancakes, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes, and even a cheeseburger, and it was all great. Way to go! Hope it lasts.

This is actually called Frankie's Cafe now. The food is always amazing. The staff is super polite. The portions are more than fair and the price is less than what you see at most places anymore. This is a solid five star cafe that we will frequent off

I don't know what happened. This place went from 5 stars to 1. Very disappointing. Loud music and coughing coming from the kitchen. All the food was cold and to make it even better we had to hear the conversation between the waitress and the cook about how he just took it off the grill. Must have been a cold grill because the food was COLD. I forgot the first rule: the customer is always wrong. Call it Frankie's or call it Downhome Cafe, either way it's bad and we won't be going back.
