Just off 71 hwy, barely in Peculiar; tiny, locally owned, and sometimes closed for months. It is the best Chinese food I have found in the metro area. Mostly carry-out and an eat-in blue collar lunch crowd. As a single lady, I usually spend about $30 (including tip) for a lunch meal with rice and egg roll and get side orders of 6 crab Rangoon and 8 dumplings to eat on for an entire weekend. Tastes amazing every time. Rotate between shrimp in garlic sauce (brown) or lobster sauce (white).

I asked for Sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. All I got was chicken and fried rice. The egg rolls were over cooked. They said there sweet and sour chicken comes with sauce on the side. That is not Sweet and sour Chicken. Lookit up to see what Sweet and sour chicken is. They are not even closed what they gave me. They dont put peppers or pineapple with theres that is not sweet and sour Chicken.The worse I have ever had will not go back. They need to close up if they can serve what they say

I don't feel 5 stars is even enough. They have the most amazing cashew sauce for their springfield style cashew chicken! I live in a different state but I WILL be back! Even if I have to drive the 4 hours, just for their chinese!!

We ate here on the drive through to friends place and WOW! Most authentic we've ever had! Very clean establishment, polite owners, extremely fresh and hot food! Price is low and portions are big! Each meal could easily feed 2-3. Very good place to eat. If you are on the fence for trying you will not be disappointed in this choice. Top notche!

WE love this local joint! The crab rangoon and the steamed dumplings are to die for! Although I was unaware that the sesame chicken was fried, typically when I order it elsewhere it is pan seared.
