Went today and got the lunch catfish meal. I was disappointed in the size of the catfish as in the past they were twice the size. Amazing nonetheless! Wonderful service as I was greeted immediately when I came in the door. Keep up the good work ladies.

Tried this place out as a break from camping. The food, environment, and staff were great. They do not serve any alcohol, which was fine with me. My only complaint was the price when it was all said and done. They give you a lot of food which makes up for it but I, personally, would have been happier with smaller portions with a lower price.

Wonderful place to eat out in the middle of nowhere! We live in Southern Iowa, but are down in the perry area quite often and really love this restaurant! Their fried catfish is phenomenal! The staff are super pleasant and friendly. The wait time to be seated can be a little long, but it's absolutely worth the wait!

Please do not take your young kiddos here unless you plan on being there for 3 hours! Our kiddos are 4 and 6, the place was not very busy so not sure what the wait was. Anyways we waited finally go seated, ordered our food and an appetizer.. my husband and I both ordered steaks and we were planning to share with the kids. My steak came and was so over done that I couldn't chew it at all.. so sent it back.. the new one was a little better. When we looked at our bill they charged us 6 extra dollars bc we were sharing food with our 6 and 4 year old... Are you KIDDING ME? After we sat there for almost 2 hours waiting and ordered an appetizer? We will absolutely NEVER be back to this establishment.

Had the prime rib special for myself. Was delicious and priced great. The rest of my party enjoyed their meal too. Great place to go after being the lake all day.

Ordered catfish that was not fully cooked. Couldn’t eat it for fear of getting sick.
Misleading menu prices. Price showed $1.99 to add side salad and was charged $4.99 and would not honor menu price.
Then ordered desert for a sundae suppose to be $2.99 and was charged $3.74. Said it was up charge for the one topping of hot fudge.
Sundae came back with only 1scoop ice crème and a small amount of hot fudge.
No nuts, No whip cream, No Cherry.

Our food was 10/10 as usual. Our server was good. The tables in the back room are way too close together. There were some ants climbing on the wall next to our table as well. We waited about 35-40 min to be seated. Another 25 min for food. The kids definitely were getting a little impatient and bored because they dont offer crayons or anything. Overall we love to eat here and the food is always amazing.

If you go to Mark Twain Lake to boat,fish,or camping you have to it at this amazing place the food and service is always great. We eat there everytime we go boating for the day!!!!

They only had 1 waitress on during lunch. She was slow and very forgetful. The food was good but not great.
