Unique atmosphere
It was very expensive to eat here and when the waitress brought our food to us she almost threw it in our lap and then demanded a tip
My family ate at the Catfish Bowl for the first time tonight. Every staff member greeted us warmly and made us feel like we were at a friend's house for dinner. Our food came to our table in less than ten minutes, delicious and piping hot. The servers were attentive and very friendly. The prices were very reasonable, and the decor was awesome! Our visit was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
Good value good food
Good value good food
Everything was frozen and either heated in a microwave or greasy. Not going back, shame because it was good at one time.
Love their catfish and family atmosphere.

Their are a LOT of choices for dinner in Arcadia Valley. What drew us to Catfish Bowl was the live music they advertised. Well, THAT was disappointing! Not only was there no music, but the bandstand that would have been "the spot" but had a table and chairs there instead. Clearly, no musician had performed there for quite some time! The two servers were VERY kind and graciously apologized at various tables, but couldn't make up for the lack of kitchen service. One young family finally left without getting service, another patron had her food getting cold while waiting for her hushand's burger to arrive. She couldn't resist sneaking over to our table to quietly warn my wife "I hope you didn't come here hungry!" There appeared to be only one cook, an elderly lady (perhaps the owner), who couldn't keep up with a place that was only about one-third filled at 7pm on a Saturday night. Maybe that should have told us something! There were positive things. Since food is what you go for, OUR catfish dinners arrived at the same time (once they arrived), were nice and fresh, delicious, and had plenty left over to take home. So we considered the meal a great value! And the decor was homey, clean and lots of seating. It took a little longer than expected to get our meal but was very good. Overall, the experience did not meet up to expectations.

Awesome catfish. Great waitress.
This restaurant is only open Friday and Saturday. I got the impression we were supposed to have reservations, but we were seated right away. You order and pay at the front counter, then sit anywhere you want. The food was very good, and portions were large. The decor is very interesting-almost like being in an antique store! Check out the huge collection of violins! The small stage at one end is used on occasion, probably during the music fest weekend.
Love their catfish and family atmosphere.
