Waitresses were very nice" thank you ladies! Crab was good but a little hard giving up the shell. The folks at HAVEN 55 made my birthday great! The Crem Brulée was the most delicious desert I have ever tasted. Thumbs up the the Chef! We Will Be Back!

Always love Haven. Consistent great food in a relaxed atmosphere on the Little Sugar Creek. The service is impeccable and Chef Alan Bone never disappoints. A gem in McDonald County.

Haven 55 is a hidden gem. We have been regularly dining at this establishment for the last 4 years and it is extremely consistent in both food and service. We have never been disappointed and will continue to dine here. Their weekly specials are award winning and as good as any five star restaurant would serve. I highly recommend this establishment for regular dining or special occasions.

Beautiful view at this secret little Hideaway place! There's a big river with some Falls and various wildlife that is so lovely to enjoy while you're eating. Have only been for lunch so far and had the salmon sandwich, salad, french fries, fried green beans and creme brulee. All were very good. Servers are nice. Inside is a very plain Decor but it's worth it for all the windows with the lovely view outside!
What a cool place to have lunch!Food was absolutely amazing!

I will Focus on the positive side. We had a 16 oz Ribeye for New Year’s Eve Dinner. It was a tasty steak, not up to Ruth Chris standards but very good. The twice baked potato was good. The vanilla crème bru lee was fresh and delicious- the staff was outstanding and very helpful
Lovely restaurant in a beautiful rural setting. Good simple food. Definitely a hidden gem.

It took 45 minutes to get our food. There was a large group that came in just ahead of us.The prices were pretty high in my opinion but the hamburger I had was good. The twice baked potato had a good flavor but was very dry.Very limited menu. The service was very good. Kept our drinks filled. Not sure if I'll go back.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but had heard great things about Haven 55 that were not met. Food was very good with reasonable portions, but not great. Atmosphere was fine, again not great, and coming from the south, you basically drive through a junk yard to get there. Most irritating, however, was $4.25. Had prime rib @ $43 a plate, but then had a $1 up charge for asparagus, 50 cents for a pat of butter for the asparagus, and a $2.75 service fee for using a credit card. Granted, all charges except the butter were duly noted, and these tactics seem to be more common than not in the restaurant industry. It seems to me that when you're already paying $100 for a dinner for two, it shouldn't be necessary to nickel and dime patrons. They have to run their business as they see fit, but we won't be hurrying back.
