Been going to this Jimmy John’s since it opened and something terrible has happened to it the past few years. They got rid of their delivery drivers which took away the one redeeming quality of the shop (being “freaky fast”). The service when you go to the shop is awful — like you’re bothering them for wanting a sandwich. They’ll close a solid 30 minutes before their posted closing. And as I’m typing this, they messed up my order once again. Not something small like forgetting a topping— they created and handed me the completely wrong sandwich. Another wasted lunch and waste of money.

I never post reviews, but this place has consistently been so bad, in a place with so little food options, that I felt compelled to.

Several times I put in an online order and added extra meat. Did not get it on the sandwich. First time I thought it was a fluke. Happened a couple more times and realized there was a pattern. The last time, I got shorted $9 worth of extra meat on my sandwich order. I tried communicating with customer service about it and have tried following up several times with no answer. I hate giving bad reviews. I’d rather just deal with things privately, but since I’ve tried that route without any response, I feel a public review is necessary to warn others.

I have never, would never, will never patronize these places. No idea why it came up for me to review.

The girl that took my order was more interested in the guy working the slicer than the customer. When my sandwich was ready she just set it on the counter and went back to flirting. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch but I got no bacon. It just reminded me why I stopped going to Jimmy John. Won't be back.

On 1-19-25 ordered a new sandwich to try something new...made me deathly sick.after an ER visit....the billy club was the culprit...I'm not kidding when I say it almost killed me...

Another person walked in while I was waiting to order and they got served first with their pickup! I ordered a giant size #5 but got a regular size, waiting over 10 minutes for it. Not freaky fast at all!

I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences at the Platte City Jimmy John’s. The drive-through is often closed, and when I ask the employees why, they either don’t give a clear answer or claim they’re understaffed—despite seeing multiple employees standing around. The service is consistently poor, and the employees seem disinterested in being there. The staff’s attitudes are frankly terrible and every time I go in, I feel like I'm an inconvenience to them just by placing an order. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority at this location. I really wish there were another Jimmy John’s nearby, as I’d stop giving this one my business. Unfortunately, this location has left me frustrated too many times.

Drive thru is more often than not closed. Being that you are one of the ONLY restaurants in Platte City with healthier options and a drive thru you would think that you would utilize that. I have small kids and I can’t get them out of my car all the time. You’ve lost my business multiple times with closing your drive through. I get you have a staffing shortage but you’re losing business all the time.

The food quality is always excellent and the employees there are knowledgeable of the menu. My husband has dairy, egg, and gluten allergies and they always make sure it's safe for him to eat. They remember him, too and the allergies he has. It's always clean inside and there's room for our family. Highly recommend.

We come to this location about once a week. But this will be our last. Four out of the last five times they've got the order completely wrong. We have to drive 15 minutes back to the store to get it remade. I understand it may be hard to find staffing but don't leave your store ran by kids.

This location I believe is understaffed but they still get your service taken care of with the polite courteous smile and in reasonable time

Freaky Slow. Horrible service.

I walked in a little after 1p and waited at the counter for a bit. One of the 3 workers then acknowledged me and said it would be a moment. No problem, I could see there were drive through orders. Waited for her to finish the sandwich she was on, then refill the lettuce bin. A little while later she proceeded to the kiosk to ask what I'd like, so I ordered my sandwich. Rather than ring me up she walked back over to the sandwich bar and started talking with one of the other workers, making another sandwich which I presumed might be mine.

As most JJ's are lightning fast & I needed the restroom, I thought I'd use the restroom quick and pay after. Came back out and no one was at the sandwich bar.

I couldn't tell if one of the other guys was maybe engaged in a task so I waited as he sort of bumbled around a little before coming to acknowledge me as I watched a fly crawling around on a 1/2 made sandwich sitting there. I asked about the sandwich that I ordered which apparently never got made as he asked me what I'd like. So I ordered again and asked if I could get a discount because I felt ignored, but be said no.

I am a rewards member and until today have always had excellent service at all of the dozens of JJ's I've ordered at for well over a decade.

This was pathetic and I would advise not to engage in this particular franchise.
