This is a very nice family owned restaurant, definitely one of the better places in Platte City. The food was fresh and hot and the service was great. I'll definitely be back.

I had such a great time at this Mexican restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming—bright colors, friendly staff, and that amazing smell of fresh tortillas in the air. 🌮✨

As a vegetarian, I’m usually cautious when it comes to Mexican spots, but this place did not disappoint at all. The menu actually had a ton of vegetarian options, and the staff was super helpful in pointing out their favorites. I tried the veggie Fajitas, and honestly, they were bursting with flavor—lots of fresh veggies and perfectly seasoned beans. The guacamole was delicious (like, I could’ve eaten it with a spoon and called it a day 😂), and the chips were warm and crunchy, clearly made fresh.

What I really loved was how balanced everything tasted—nothing felt too heavy, and each dish had that fresh, homemade vibe that makes you want to order seconds. Even the rice and beans, which sometimes get overlooked, were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. To top it off, I had a refreshing agua fresca that tied the whole meal together.

Overall, this place is definitely going on my list of favorites. Great food, excellent service, and a real win for anyone looking for delicious Mexican cuisine with vegetarian-friendly options. Highly recommend if you’re craving something authentic, fresh, and flavorful! 🌯🥑🌶️

Stopped here on the way to WOF. Lovely family owned establishment! We had my two month old with us, and was starting to get fussy. One of the owners insisted on holding him while I ate. She walked around and kept him entertained right until we were leaving. There’s few things I love more than midwestern hospitality. Food specifically and especially Mexican food is one of my all time favorites. Will definitely stop here again when we are in the area! ❤️

Amazing. Best restaurant in Platte city. I got the Beef Enchilada with rice and beans and it was delicious. The beans are to die for and the Enchilada and rice were great as well. Waiter was very kind and respectful. Checked on us often and was a nice person overall. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. The music was pretty and soothing. If you’re ever in Platte City, go to this restaurant. You don’t wanna miss it.

What a fantastic Mexican dining experience! The flavors of the food we had was terrific, taking us to the heart of Mexico. The vibrant decor and welcoming ambiance created the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The staff's warmth and knowledge about the cuisine added to the charm. A hidden gem worth exploring! 🌮🌶️🍹

First impression: as I entered the restaurant I was greeted with a faint urine smell.
Looking about, plenty of tables to accommodate 40 patrons on a busy night.
Take away: no coffee available at the noon hour the day of my visit (Saturday)
Ordered the tostada plate and was disappointed that bean/rice combination were oven-heated, thusly, a hot plate, tostada was a 3-stars taste.

The service was good, the margarita was decent. I love the decor and that the music is actually Latin. I just had an enchilada lunch - the chicken was juicy but not very flavorful, and the Mexican rice was also bland. The pinto beans were the worst I have ever had - as though they just cooked dried beans with no seasoning whatsoever and didn't quite get them done. Their salsa has just the right amount of heat.

i don’t appreciate this business they are trying to imitate old family business that was there called LAS CABANAS and trying to say they are the same business which is not true when they had closed down two ish years ago now this business is still trying to imitate them.
