I don't know how to say enough good things. I'm an elopement planner and wedding photographer. Sugar Whipped crew - Melissa, Ryan, et al., have come through for me so many times. The services they provide are top notch. One of the most important things I look for in wedding vendors is that they CARE. Melissa truly cares deeply about each of her clients and makes sure everyone gets the love they need and she pours it in to her recipes. I think that's truly her secret ingredient. Communication is always clear and concise, the cakes she provides are stunning, meticulously created, delivered SAFELY, and are DELICIOUS. Not to mention the bakery itself gives me cozy vibes and sweet treats. Honestly, it's no surprise sugar whipped was voted Best of KC in a couple categories. it's obvious why. 10/10 recommend and will use again and again.

I just wanna say I heard so many great things about this place. I inquired because the shop is close to me, I own a small business and love supporting small businesses. I inquired about a birthday party order and sent my inspo as requested from owner and then was ghosted. The response time at first was also less than satisfying …. Just disappointed that once I sent inspo pictures and what I needed I got zero response. I waited for over a week. And tried giving benefit of the doubt. Would not order from here .

Lady in there walked away from me mid sentence because she was offended by the clothes I was wearing. Lol just stopped in Plattsburgh for the first time to trip around and had to deal with this. Wouldn't recommend this to people wearing clothes not "from around these parts"

Sweet surprise! I wasn’t looking for this place. I was passing through Plattsburg and drove through the square and was looking at all the small business, mom and pop shops (the square and downtown Plattsburg is for another review!) and saw this bakery. This place is incredible. The best word I can come up with to describe it is “charming”. The owners clearly are very artistic and creativ (to see them able to express that in baking is remarkable). The menu was impressive. Coffee, espressos, and everything that can be made with them, donuts, cupcakes, and breakfast items! I saw egg bites with spinach and smoked Gouda or chorizo and pepper jack! Lemonade from scratch, tea, and these almond croissants that I took home (also from scratch) 6 stars! I have not been in stores like this since I was a little girl. And I have never been in a bakery like this! The man working (assume was the owner) was so friendly. The atmosphere was perfect. And the food was delicious ❤️

Hands down the best doughnuts and pastries in the entire metropolitan area of Kansas City. Located in an amazing historic downtown of Plattsburg, MO, our family has enjoyed these top notch desserts and treats since our move up here. The service is amazing and the owners are spectacular individuals!!!

Wow..just wow! This little shop packs a punch of deliciousness! She had me at “lavender donut” but I was pushed over the sugar mountaintop with strawberry puffs of yum and Lucky Charms sprinkled on sugary clouds. You have to stop by and fall in love with Sugar Whipped just like I did.
