Sugar Whipped Bakery made our wedding cake and it was absolutely perfect! Melissa took what I had in mind and created a cake with elegance and beauty. Communication prior to the event was seamless and every detail was thought through. I can’t recommend Sugar Whipped enough!

Lady in there walked away from me mid sentence because she was offended by the clothes I was wearing. Lol just stopped in Plattsburgh for the first time to trip around and had to deal with this. Wouldn't recommend this to people wearing clothes not "from around these parts"

Sweet surprise! I wasn’t looking for this place. I was passing through Plattsburg and drove through the square and was looking at all the small business, mom and pop shops (the square and downtown Plattsburg is for another review!) and saw this bakery. This place is incredible. The best word I can come up with to describe it is “charming”. The owners clearly are very artistic and creativ (to see them able to express that in baking is remarkable). The menu was impressive. Coffee, espressos, and everything that can be made with them, donuts, cupcakes, and breakfast items! I saw egg bites with spinach and smoked Gouda or chorizo and pepper jack! Lemonade from scratch, tea, and these almond croissants that I took home (also from scratch) 6 stars! I have not been in stores like this since I was a little girl. And I have never been in a bakery like this! The man working (assume was the owner) was so friendly. The atmosphere was perfect. And the food was delicious ❤️

Wow..just wow! This little shop packs a punch of deliciousness! She had me at “lavender donut” but I was pushed over the sugar mountaintop with strawberry puffs of yum and Lucky Charms sprinkled on sugary clouds. You have to stop by and fall in love with Sugar Whipped just like I did.
You don't want to miss this eclectic little bakery nestled in a quaint small town with amazing baked goods and service. Some gluten free options are available and everything is made from scratch. Have a seat on the cozy couch and take in all there is to offer in this cute little store. You'll want to get there early as they do sell out fast each day!

A quaint little bakery in an adorable town. Not only is the food absolutely DELICIOUS, but the owner and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Stepping into this bakery is like stepping into a whole other atmosphere where all is happy and comfortable. If you just need a place to rest and even read a book from their free library to your kiddos, that’s ok! They’re very kind people with fantastic pastries. I’ve NEVER been disappointed. Anytime someone mentions an event where they might just possibly need anything from a bakery, I tell them about Melissa and her wonderful bakery ?
Dietary restrictions: They’re very understanding of restrictions that may keep you from eating their food. They sometimes offer gluten free options and other dietary restrictions friendly options.
Kid-friendliness: They love kiddos! Stop in and read a book from their free library
This place is everything you want from a small town bakery. The food is all made fresh, the atmosphere is cute and quaint and the staff are the kind of people to start your day off on a good note. My son loves their donuts, I love the pastries and various desserts (cheesecake cones = YUM) and my husband raves about the breakfast sandwich. They make new creations regularly, too, so there is always something new to try. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast or a treat!
Parking: You can almost always park on the street right outside the door of the shop!
