Admittedly wasn't sure what living in a small town would be like as an outsider in every respect.
Press Monkey Studio is the place to go when you want to be welcomed. Every single one of the staff is generous with their time, no matter who you are. The food is amazing. Plus the bonus of buying t-shirts from an OG designer at Hallmark (I did my research).

My wife and I love the pastry options, food, and the coffee. Cool little spot in downtown pleasant hill. I love that they offer KC shirts and other trinkets.

I was shocked at how adorable this was! Cute gifts like local/kc shirts. I tried the falcon iced coffee and I’m excited to try the other flavors. We split a huge oatmeal crème pie there today but I saw they have some pretty hefty cinnamon rolls too lol

First time here got a turkey BLT and a blueberry muffin. It was very good. Staff was super friendly and nice. They all seemed really knowledgeable about everything y'all have. So happy I stopped in today

My second visit today at Press Monkey in Pleasant Hill; again, very disappointing. My latte was not creamy - more like warm water. My cup was handed to me less than half full. FYI, they charge more than Starbucks for the identical order. Sorry, I won't be back.

This is one of my most favorite coffee shop shops and I'm not even a big coffee drinker. I love that they also help take care of the community by allowing all coffee grounds to be bagged up for free for locals to use his compost.

A cute little place in PHill to visit with a friend. Coffee was yummy. Staff was energetic and social. Fun KC t-shirts and gifts. Loved the downtown old building feel. Additional seating upstairs.

Dietary restrictions: Oats milk options. Dairy free coffee option easily obtained

Kid-friendliness: Super cute little play area upstairs for kids.

Grabbed breakfast and coffee here with some friends as we headed out on our bike packing adventure along the Rock Island and Katy Trails. A cute coffee shop with great coffee, baked goods, and breakfast items. My croissant sandwich was savory and set me out on a long day of riding. Cozy atmosphere with many bike-themed displays.
