Big Whiskey's Poplar Bluff

Skip the bar with pink hair gal and get a table. Got more attention from the person cleaning up than the bartender. Bar top is cheap too,like they couldn't afford to finish pouring epoxy over it. Would of stayed longer & bought more if they paid more attention. Instead she preferred to chat to coworkers about personal bathroom issues than check on us.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner; everything was awesome!! We loved the environment, the service was great, and our food hit the spot! We will definitely be back sometime on our way through Poplar Bluff.

I don't come here for beer, or football. I come here for great food and great service and I am never disappointed. Highly recommend Big Whiskey's for dinner.

Restaurant seems too good for the shoes. Service seemed like they did NOT want to be there. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and the chicken was like it came out of a box and heated up.

My wife and i stopped in for a quick lunch. First time to dine in this restaurant. When you first walk in and see the whiskey barrel rack and the bar in the background it has such a great vibe. We were sear directly and the waiter was so great. The restaurant was clean the food was delicious. I would recommend the beer cheese with the hot butter pretzels.They proudly display American whiskey and it leaves you with a sincere appreciation of the dining experience. We will return again.

Showed up at BW and We were promptly seated and then we ordered an appetizer +2 entrées. After a little bit our server, I think his name was Dan, brought our appetizers out with our meal. Our meals were hot and the appetizer was sort of warm. Figured that appetizer had been sitting there. We ate our meal and got a box for the appetizer. When checking out we did not get a receipt for me to scan for our rewards program. We asked the server to get us a receipt and he brought us back one. I glanced at it and realized it did not have a scan code/QR code at the bottom so it would not work for me to load on my rewards program. Pointing that out to him, he took my phone number and said he would get them loaded, which he did.. After arriving back home, I looked at the receipt he had given me, and it was for a completely different table anyway. Oh well. The food was good.

I would note that if I get what I expect for the price I pay that is a three. A five star means they could do nothing better and the price was an awesome value.

I think the only redeeming qualities was that this place is kid friendly and it was clean. Our party ordered a Caesar salad that came out with soggy croutons and super wilted lettuce. The half pound of boneless wings were dry and really had no sauce. Our party also ordered broccoli as a side and that was really overcooked and super salty. As far as passing through Poplar Bluff a couple of times a year, we won't be going returning.

Number 1 place to eat! Everything on the menu is great food. Family friendly. Good mixed drinks that are refreshing after a long day shopping. Our waitress was very nice. Our wait time on food was perfect.
