I know for a fact that the owner has fried chicken and the leftover chicken is soaked in storage tote containers to get the breading off and another "chicken meal".is made the following week. Last year she did this with the fried chicken and made Mexican chicken with the same meat the following week. There was some of that left so she made chicken enchiladas the following week. That chicken was over 2 weeks old! Carolyn (the owner) is a greedy lady with no regards to human safety! Enjoy!!

The cook was more interested in being out front talking to the waitresses than cooking the food. The bacon on our burgers came out so burnt it was the color of charcoal and crumbled when you touched it. The onion rings were mush, the fries were mush and had zero flavor, and the tea was basically sugar water. You couldn't even taste the tea. Our waitress came to check on us once during our visit and that was at the end of the meal. The only good thing about it was that the waitress removed the cost of one of the burgers to make up for our experience. This is the third and last time we will ever go to this restaurant.

If you're looking for great food at a great price and a nice family atmosphere, then this is the restaurant for you.
Order 2 eggs over easy and ham, been sitting 30 minutes and no food, finally get food and disappointed with the portion for the price! The ham was smaller then the egg.
Didn't care for the meatloaf but everything else we ordered was delicious. You get treated like family, always friendly service, always a smile on a waitresses face. We travel about 30 minutes 1 way to come here & it's well worth it. Highly recommend this

So look I think it was just a busy day for the cook. There was definitely a lunch rush. I'd still eat there again, just not around lunch. It's a very welcoming diner.Kid-friendliness: I seen they had booster seats for toddlers, not sure about high chairs

Hillbilly hash was excellent! Biscuits and gravy were a little undercooked.Extra crispy bacon was delicious and very crispy. French toast was very good, but also very sweet.Service was excellent. Definitely a great local hangout, with great food and atmosphere.
