Enjoyed Hayden's BBQ my whole life but the new owners have changed the pork preparation. Tastes like it is pre sliced and precooked and not in a BBQ pit. Meat has a dry jerky consistency. Almost flavorless. Makes me sad this historic place's traditions have been lost. Not the same since Mr. Clark sold it.

Came here with a friend, he grew up in Poplar Bluff and goes back for a taste of home from time to time. I got to accompany him this time and it was great! We of course had the BBQ and the famous Pink Lemonade ?. It was fantastic and the Cafe is decorated so nicely! If you get a chance to stop in your should take it! And get a pink Lemonade to go!

We appreciate the great service and kindness. We ate breakfast on a holiday (we appreciated them being open) after we had been without power for over 24 hours due to storms. The manager was very kind and on the way out handed us both a pink lemonade to enjoy on our hot day knowing we were still waiting for our power to come back on at home. It’s the little things and kindness that are greatly appreciated.
The food was wonderful and highly recommend stopping in for a meal! We will be going back soon!

My family and I were traveling through the area to Texas when we found this great little local spot. I enjoyed the pig pen potatoes with sausage, while my wife had the sunrise burger, and my son had the cheeseburger and cheese balls. No complaints were heard! I only wish I had BBQ. My wife told me to try some of the sauce. It is incredible! I bought a quart of course. If you are in the area, you won't regret stopping by.
