⭐⭐⭐ I had a decent meal at Huddle House in Poplar Bluff, MO, but it felt like I was paying Perkins prices for a Huddle House atmosphere. I got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, their new coleslaw, and a biscuit. The coleslaw was a standout—sweet, tangy, and perfectly vinegary. My friend ordered the triple cheeseburger with a double order of fries and liked it. Our server, Dorothy, was amazing, super attentive, and really elevated the experience. However, the portions were on the smaller side for the increasing prices, which made it feel like a premium cost for a more casual vibe. Food was tasty, but I expected a bit more value for the price.

They can’t get orders right. I ordered a huddle bowl and they gave it to me with no cheese, no gravy, and my hash browns didn’t have the onions I had to pay extra to order. The staff is incredibly rude. Not worth the time of day.

Similar to waffle house food. Prices are quite a bit more, $80 for 3 adults 1 child. toast was burnt and the pancakes were almost burnt also. Service was good.

My mother ordered breakfast yesterday and asked if she could substitute home fries instead of hash browns. They said there would be a small charge. $9! It was $9 more! She complained and they reduced it by half. $4.50! Still too much!!
