We ate here tonight & had the WORST food experience I’ve had in a very long time. $20 for a pork steak that was too tough to even eat. Didn’t eat my food at all. Had difficulty cutting it with a knife, the lettuce was brown in our salads. We come and eat here every deer season and needless to say tonight will be the last. Our waiter was quick to add the gratuity to our check but didn’t even check in on the table. He took our orders and delivered food and outside of that we never even saw him. 0/10 stars. Do NOT recommend.

Appetizers We enjoyed the deep fried green beans appetizer as well as the pulled pork nachos. Good cheese on top! The dipping sauce for the beans was ranch (yawn) but also a mildly spicy sauce that was great. Entrees Choice of three sides! I had the smoked half chicken with hush puppies. Sides were BBQ beans, cucumber salad, and fries. Spouse had the nights special which was batter fried USA raised catfish with hush puppies. Sides were sweet potato fries, potato salad, and mac n cheese. We had a blast trying to figure out the herbs and spices. We think tarragon in the potato salad. Cucumber salad had onion vinegar and tomato. Buttermilk in the hush puppies? They were great. Lots of leftovers for breakfast which was our plan.

This was a really cool spot with a great menu, and perfect atmosphere for a BBQ shop.

A nice place to have some fried catfish.
I had a full meal with fried catfish, cajun fries, hushpuppies, coleslaw and BBQ beans.
The fish was fried very, very well and tasted good, and fries were fine as well. I personally didn't enjoyed the hushpuppies and the beans, but I also get that I, being italian, might be used to a different kind of taste. What I really didn't liked was the coleslaw, too rich in (I think) garlic or onion.
One pro is that the food, although being fried, was quite light to digest!
Anyway, I had a good time over here, service was also very kind.

I ate at fish and pig on Thursday July 3,2025 all u can eat catfish, the fish was not cooked the same vas the previous Thursday. Smaller pieces. Everything on my plate was less than Luke warm.i talked to Manager. I believe they are cooking so much that some items like fish,and cabbage,hush puppies sit awhile before serving.they should definitely invest in warming tray with heat lights then it would be better.i hate paying for Luke warm food. A person could get a bacterial infection if food is not cooked to certain temperatures.they do have a good variety of food items.but I like my meal served hot. So please invest in some heat lamps or something to get hotter food that tastes better. There food was definitely better years ago prices are higher. So you are paying more so why not have your food served hot.if it's to hot customer can let it simmer down to his liking.

Absolutely the worst. Ordered 2 pieces of catfish and fries. Waited for over 30 minutes and they hadn't started cooking it.

There was so much food that my Sweety and I had to split a meal. We had the pulled pork and catfish on at Friday at 430. It was already half full with locals. The hush puppies had a weird flavor, but everything else was good.

It's a nice spot.. Friendly waitress and even better food. The ribs, the fried shrimp, and Arnold Palmer (sweet tea & lemonade) were good 💵. Affordable, and the quantity was excellent. I'll definitely return to try out more of their dishes. I definitely appreciated the refill of my Arnold Palmer drink to go!

Enjoyed the waitress, she was nice and on point.

Hushpuppies are inedible. Fish was not terrible but wasn’t worth the cost. Baked beans taste like a spoonful of bbq sauce. Coleslaw was meh.

Kiddo got ribs and fries, both were decent.

Another member got a burger which was dry.

For fish and better food with similar cost, go to Wapapello area, Crab and Company.
